~Maria's POV~
I couldn't fully check Peggy's wounds here... There's boys here... I know, they're all the GAYEST guys on campus, but still. I'd have to take off Peggy's shirt and have her change into some short shorts to fully inspect her, (Which I know she'll let me) but not with the boys here. I'd need to have Peggy strip down to some shorts and her bra to fully check her wounds... god everything hurts, but I can't let Peggy figure that out. She fought to protect me... I can't tell her she failed. Which, she did. I wished I could've helped in the moment, but I was too weak. I wanted to. I wanted to help, but i couldn't.

~Peggy Schuyler's POV~
Urg... Ow.. Maria pushed on my stomach a little to check for bruises. Ow.. Another push on me.. I can barely feel it, but it still hurts... "Ow.. M-M-Maria..." I whined at the pain.

~Maria's POV~
She whined at the pain. It felt bad to know she was whining at my touches. I felt like as if I was the one who beat her up... I basically was... I let her get beat up. My poor Peggy.
I thanked Herc and hugged him. Brotherly-Kissing his cheek, I waved off and headed out with Peggy in my arms. I needed to patch her up, I needed Eliza's help.

~Hercules' POV~
I closed the door. Why Maria.
She kissed my cheek.
Laff looks mad... Uh-Oh...
Time to do some explaining.

James whipped her again for speaking, "Don't speak unless spoken to slut" he said harshly, whipping me again. "O-ow!" I practically yelled in pain, "Pl-please" I begged as he put down the whip. "Spread em" he said harshly as he spread my legs apart, God.

~Hercules' POV~
Maria wasn't in class today... weird... I needa text her. I needa find out what's wrong, my legs were hurting so bad. I don't know why. Laff's weren't though. Which was weird.
