You were different from the infamous Embry Call.
He was the perfect epitome of a Greek God, built to impress goddesses who were suit for his standards. Some say he was the son of Hercules, his strength that pushes his limits in every game that he was needed. Of course he is a jock, why else is he going to be famous in Forks High if he wasn't?
Unfortunately, he wasn't as good in his academics. He was failing in each and every subject besides Physical Education, always getting yelled at or worse being at detention. Every year he would get expelled, and once had you thinking why he wasn't dropped out yet, it was answered.
He is, afterall, the captain of his team– the only man that can save it's nearing demise years back.
But you? You were the opposite of him.
You weren't the nerd in class but majority is certain that you are intelligent, you have gone off to different competitions with your colleagues and have won multiple times. Also being a part of the school paper staff and the supreme student council, everyone practically knows you and your skills.
Asides from being intelligent, you were given the opportunity of receiving various from responsible to leadership awards. For years of being in Forks High, you were also given a chance to be the Student Ambassador though other opportunities that was thrown to you— you have given them to your colleagues just to give them exposure and enhancement.
People had liked you because of your positive presence and the fact that you were kind, they approach you if they needed help and whatsoever that is about academics. While Embry? Embry was being approached if they needed enhancing for their skills on whichsoever sports they'd like to play.
Both of you played a huge part on the school that sometimes, people would mistake that you are together.
Well they are truly mistaken, you were together. That was before he was known, when all he had was you and his seniors. But when Paul and Jared left, he decided to be better just like his seniors. To follow their footsteps and to be the role model of his juniors. But he was looking too far, he didn't know you weren't trailing behind anymore.
