This was really the end, huh? You were laying in your bed feeling more weak then you have ever felt before. You knew there was no hope for you now and it felt a little scary to be honest. You were going to die. Who would take over your place? Would they be a good person? You were scared that you were crying just a little bit.
For some reason you thought it would never end, that your life would last forever but here you were now. You just hoped that when you went to heaven or where you would go that you could find peace and that the one which took over your place would be a nice and kind person.
A dry cough escaped your lips and it made you get a slight pain in your throat, making you get more tears inside your E/C eyes. Suddenly you heard someone enter the room and you looked to the side to see who was visiting you. You saw a pair of gentle eyes look at you and you immediately knew who the person were. "H-Hello Russia..." you said weakly and he walked over to you, sitting on the bed.
"Privet Y/N" his soft voice said and you smiled gently when you heard it. You have known Russia for a long, long time. He have helped you a lot with your country and you of course you helped him back. You were also his friend and didn't only help him with his country but also with his own personal problems. You could say that you helped the country Russia but you also helped the person Ivan Braginsky.
"Does it hurt?" he asked and you forced another smile on your face. "A little bit..." you muttered out and you saw that sadness and hurt started to take control over his gentle and childish eyes. "I really hope you'll be fine soon..." he mumbled out and you felt bad to you had to leave your best friend. "I'm sorry but i won't be fine... you know that to" you said softly and sadly. He nodded slightly. "I know" he said and you smiled softly to him. "It's okay" you mumbled.
"Can i ask a favor?" you suddenly said and he nodded. "Please, take care of the person which will take over my place" the Russian man nodded without hesitation, making you smile once more to him. He didn't want you to leave because you were one of the few which truly understood him. You weren't scared of him at all. He just wanted you to stay with him and you both could help each other as the nations Russia and N/N but also as the persons Ivan and Y/N.
Only if he could stop it but he knew that couldn't happen. His thoughts got interrupted when he heard another cough escape your lips. This sounded really painful. "Are you okay?" he asked innocently but he still had a hint of sadness in his voice. "Yeah, i'm fine..." you mumbled weakly. "Ivan..." you started. "Promise me something" you continued. You took your hand onto his and you smiled once again weakly but this smile was a real and gentle smile. He had never seen you smile like this and he knew what was coming.
"Continue for your quest to happiness, okay?"
you said and for the first time you saw a small tear escape his left eye. "Just because i'm disappearing now does not mean that you shall feel sadness all your life, alright?" you said and you sighed out softly and a relaxing smile appeared on your lips while you closed your tired eyes slowly. Another tear escaped his eyes and now he felt a waterfall of tears fall down his innocent and gentle eyes.
He took his hands over his face as he saw that you weren't breathing anymore.
He had lost his best friend.

It was a sunny day and it wasn't to hot or cold. It was perfect. The Russian man had some sunflowers in his hand as he walked through the graveyard until he found the grave which he wanted to see.
Y/N L/N
He smiled sadly when he saw the name and placed the sunflowers softly onto the ground. He only looked at the grave. For some reason he wanted to talk but he didn't, knowing you couldn't answer his questions anymore but he started to talk anyways. He talked about his life, how he had it and what was going on in the world.
"I miss you" he said after some silence overtook.
"I hope you feel at peace now, Y/N"
