I woke up in the morning, humming to me singing. I sounded great last night. The sun was just rising and it was Monday the 21st of May. I was used to getting up this early for school. That wasn't going to happen. I went to grab Amanda's necklace and Katie's earings, but they were gone! I searched all over. Where I was sleeping. Along the beach. By the tree. Near the water. All over the place...but they were gone.
"Where is it!" yelled Chris.
"Where...what-" I was confused. But I looked into his eyes. They were...dark brown turning into a black. I quickly grabbed the paper, and looked on both sides. Nothing appeared. I looked back at Chris. Then back at the paper. Still nothing. But a flashing light appeared. Then two. Then three. Amanda....Katie....Freddy! Coming back! But Chris -now with full black eyes- laughing?
"Haha! I fooled you big time!" He laughed. And then his eyes turned quickly back into his amber brown eyes.
"Idiot!" I said, mumbling.
"Hey! That was really funny. Hey, Freddy! Katie! Amanda! There back!" he said pointing.
And there they were. Human. Non-controlled. Just....them.
"Don't you ever do that again unless if this crazy paper tells you to!" I said, running over to Katie and Amanda hugging them both.
"That won't happen!" said Katie.
"I missed you! I missed you!" screamed Amanda, "I know you didn't miss me. But I missed you!"
"Amanda...I missed you more than you'd ever miss me!" I replied, hugging her until she couldn't breathe.
We all hugged.
"Hey something popped up! I think its for Lindsay ." said Alex.
"Someone is full of good magic. If she dies, everyone in this world will." read Chris.
"Lindsay...I think-" started Katie.
"NO! I'm not that person!" Lindsay screamed. Everyone was silent. They all knew. Even Lindsay, she just didn't want to admit it. Lindsay looked down at the paper.
"Step 4." she said.
"Pass through the water safe and sound, but don't let her touch the ground." read Katie.
"Um..." said Chris.
Lindsay, dropped. Sat on the ground and cried. Amanda sat down next to her, but that was no help.
"Lindsay, it will be alright! I'll carry you! You'll be fine! Right guys." said Amanda.
"Yea. Come on." said Katie.
"I'll...yea. Come on Katie, and other people." said Freddy.
They changed into animals. Chris was right behind Lindsay the whole time.
He pushed her head back on his lap. Lindsay felt uncomfortable, but she was ok with it at the same time. The water was rough. Very bumpy. Lindsay closed her eyes. She tried to fall asleep but that didn't happen. Then right out on front of her, a myth. A magical creature. A creature that isn't alive. Shouldn't be alive. A serpent. It splashed. It swam. It waved its tail all around. Knocking everyone away from Lindsay. It pushed Katie away. Pushed Amanda into the water, transforming. Pushing Alex away until he was out of sight. Pushing Chris...her only protecter...underwater. Pushing him, to the very bottom. When Chris was down there, the serpent grabbed Lindsay. Then swam away with her. Drowning her. Killing her. Or at least that's what it thought it did.
