"Oh," was Amelia's response. That's very helpful, Amelia, I totally know if you accept me or not.

"Oh, what? Good, bad, no comment? I need an answer!" I said.

"I was not expecting that. I didn't know you liked girls," Amelia came over and sat next to me on my bed. "Is this why you didn't what to talk about it in front of Mom?"

"Yes. And, I only realized I liked girls about a week ago. So....do you accept me?" I asked, biting my lip.

"Of course! Did I do anything that would make you think I didn't? That I wouldn't?!" she asked, pretty much freaking out.

"Well, no....." I trailed off thinking about how I was scared she might follow my mother's footsteps in beliefs about gays.

"Taylor, you're my sister, of course I'd accept you! Why wouldn't I? You know, I don't talk about it around Mom, but, my roommate is a lesbian. Her girlfriend comes around a few times a week. I believe that everyone is equal no matter what. I fully support gay rights, even though I'm 100% straight."

I sighed. "I'm glad. I was scared you'd disown me as a sister or something because of it. I'm so happy you support and accept me. Do you think I could meet your roomie and her girlfriend?"

"Sure!" she grabbed her phone and quickly sent a text message. "I asked her if I could bring my-wait, you're just gay, right? Not bisexual?"

"Just gay."

"Okay, anyway, I asked if I could bring my gay sis up on Friday. Is Friday a good day to steal you for the night?"

"I think so. What's their names?"

"Lucie is my roommate, and Mikayla is her girlfriend. And she said yes!"

"Cool!"

The rest of the week went by pretty quickly, surprisingly.

No new developments. I didn't tell anyone else that I'm gay. 'Melia told my mom that she wanted to show me some stuff on campus as an excuse, so I was all set to go. Her university is about 2 hours away, so she only visits on every few weeks on days she's free.

(A/N: For anyone wondering why a 19-year old goes to university/college, I went back and changed her age to 22, so it makes more sense. Also, I'm listening to a bunch of gay songs. I need to put together a gay playlist, or should I say, gaylist?! I'll leave now.....)

We left right after my school finished, which was around 3:30. She said she had some assembly today, so she didn't have any classes.

We got to there around 6 because of traffic and because we picked up a pizza on the way there. Her dorm was up on the fourth floor of a five story building, but the stories were at least 10 feet tall each, so we had to climb a lot of stairs. Trying to do that with a pizza isn't easy.

"Lucie? Lucie, you here?" Amelia called as she held the door opened for me. The very first thing I noticed, this poster:

I approve.

Next, Lucie. She had blond wavy hair, thick framed black glasses, a striped t-shirt, skinny jeans, and was barefoot. She was sitting on a couch underneath a bed, presumably hers.

(A/N: Just more colorful, think reds and oranges)

"Amelia! Hey! Is this your sis?" she looked up from her laptop, which she had previously been staring at.

"Yep! Here, give me the pizza," Amelia put the pizza box on the coffee table Lucie had been using as an ottoman.

"Hi. My name's Taylor," I said, staring at my feet. My social awkwardness never fails.

"Hi, Taylor. I'm Lucie. Amelia said you just recently discovered you're gay, right?" she asked. Lucie is really friendly and nice. I already like her.

"Uh, yeah. She told me you're gay," I replied, feeling stupid, but looking up.

"Yeah. My girlfriend, Mikayla, will be over in a few minutes. Why don't you take a seat?" she patted the couch and sat down herself.

We were in the middle of eating pizza when a voice called, "Sup bitches!"

I instantly liked this girl.

In burst a girl with shoulder-length black hair, a nose ring, a black t-shirt with the words 'JUST DO IT LATER,' (Again, instant approval. [Google 'graphic tees,' go to Images, scroll some and you'll find it]) black skinny jeans, and black Chuck Taylors. She also carried a bag.

"Oh shit-I didn't realize a young person was going to be here. I, uh, brought booze and Deadpool over to watch..." she looked at Lucie.

"No, Mikayla, it's okay. We can save those for later. This is Taylor, Amelia's sister. She just recently discovered she's gay," Lucie said, getting up. She kissed Mikayla on the cheek and put the bag on her bed.

"Oh, hi. I'm Mikayla. So, uh, you're gay? Cool. I am too. Lucie is my girlfriend," she said nervously.

"Yeah, I am. You two look really cute together." It was the truth.

"Thanks!" her face lit up at the compliment.

That night was full of encouraging words, gay jokes, and pizza. At about 10:30, I asked the serious question of what do I do when I want to ask another gay girl out.

"Okay, well first, you explain to them that you're gay too, that you really like them, and you want to be girlfriends, or just go on a date. Then, you have to wait and see if they say yes or no. And if they say no, don't get yourself down over it. I wish you good luck, when you finally do ask someone." Lucie said.

"That's some really good advice, thanks!" I said.

"No problem."

At 11:30, I had to leave. But it was okay, because I met two lesbians who were so encouraging and positive about everything, and they were a lot of fun, too. I thought about how everything would be alright, since I know I can talk to them if I need some gay advice.

A/N: And that is the end of this chapter! I feel a bit better about this one writing wise, and I hope you enjoy. The next chapter will be kind of short, but it will involve something semi-major. That will come some point within the next week.

If you are trying to ask someone out, no matter your sexuality, I hope 'Lucie's' advice will help! Who knows, maybe I'll actually take it. (There is a 80% chance I won't, but don't let that stop you!)

I hope you enjoyed and I wish you all a good day/night/afternoon/whenever!
