I walk through the door only to find an empty room. Wow, how anticlimactic. "The guys got impatient and went to go grab lunch and I was about to head that way too, wanna join?" Jonathan asked as he zipped up his jacket. "No, I'm fine." I replied as I sat in a rolly chair. "You sure?" He questioned. "Yea, I'll just stay here and chill." I replied as I lounged in the chair. "Okay", he said, "If you wanna listen to music here's how you hook it up to the speakers." He then pulls out a red cord and explain how the volume controls work. "If you need anything else V is at the front desk and I have my cell, I'll be back in like 15." Jonathan says as he heads out the door. "Thank you." I yell back as he disappears out the door and leaves me to my lonesome. I immediately plug up my phone and turn on America, and if course with me being me I can't sit still; I jump up and begin head banging and singing.

Oil prices are so high we can't feed ourselves,
So we buy into fast food to occupy the will.
We upload our status to beg for attention,
While they're all eating cake up on Capitol hill.

As I'm playing air guitar and about to start singing the chorus, of course one of my plugs decides to jump of my ear. Fan-fucking-tastic, I think to myself as I groan and pause my music. "Where the fuck could it have gone?" I question holding out the last word into a groan. I'm on my hands and knees searching everywhere for my single bloodstone plug. How can something 3/4ths of an inch be so hard to find? I let out a defeated sigh and rest for a minute. I pinch the bridge of my nose out of frustration, "Okay Melodie just take a breath, turn on some music and look again." I turn on my phone and just as America ends the acoustic version of The Nobodies starts and I start singing along as I'm crawling around like a lost baby.

Some children died the other day

We fed machines and then we prayed

Puked up and down in morbid faith

You should have seen the ratings that day

I was mid belt as I finally found my plug at the doorway entrance, "Gotcha!" I exclaimed as I fast crawled over to it. Just as I was about to grab the plug it met another pair of leather combat boots and black skinny jeans to match. As I looked up to see who the boots belonged to I saw a Marilyn Manson shirt and a leather jacket, a pair of snakebites and a labret on a beautiful set of plump lips, a perfect nose, and hypnotic eyes that pierced through me; I was in a staring contest with Chris Motionless. I felt trapped in his gaze as I slowly stood up without breaking it. As I stood up I felt so small next to his 6ft frame and a little more intimidated as Sinematic started to play. His lips then turned into a wicked grin as he crouched down and picked up my plug, "I believe you dropped this." He said handing it to me. "Uh huh." I barely managed out internally slapping myself. He let out a small laugh and extended his hand towards me. "My name is Chris but from the looks of your tank top, tattoo, and music taste I guess you knew that." I stand there grinning like an idiot and feeling like a fangirl completely forgetting about my Immaculate Misconception lyric tattoo on my shoulder. "My name is Melodie Carollyn Wright but I just go by Melodie so telling you my whole name was kinda pointless even though it's kinda pretty but I don't wanna sound superficial even though I do like it and I think my mom made a good choice when she came up with my name and yea I'll shut up now I'm sorry." I look down completely embarrassed after my nervous, fast ramble and begin playing with my flannel. "Haha you're funny." Chris says as I feel my cheeks heat up "I love funny girls." Chris says with a sweet smile. "Well this funny girl loves you." I think to myself or so I thought. "What was that?" Chris says. "N-nothing. I said thank you." I say as I glance at him and he takes a step towards me. He gently tucks a loose strand of hair behind my ear and places his other hand on my hip. "Don't be nervous love, the creature only comes out at night." He then looks me up and down and very sexily bites his lip. I open my mouth to speak but nothing comes out. He quickly winks at me and walks towards the booth as I hear commotion in the hallway. So much for not mixing work with play, I sit back on the rolly chair and let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.
