peyton pulled up to the set of riverdale and was automatically amazed. just to see her sister becoming so successful was enough to make her excited. she opened her car door and stepped onto the gravel, the sound of rocks crunching beneath her feet as she walked.

she saw trailers lining the outside of warehouses, which she assumed were for filming. each trailer had a name on it: cole sprouse, camila mendes, ashleigh murray, even makeup had its own trailer. she just couldn't seem to find her sister's.

it seemed like a smart idea to ask someone where it was, but everyone just seemed so busy, and she didn't want to interfere. she turned her head behind her to look for a person who didn't look as busy, but she forgot she was still walking.

almost instantly, she crashed into someone, knocking both of the people to the ground. "oh my gosh, i'm so sorry!" she heard a voice say as she looked up. it was none other than her new best friend, kj apa. "peyton!" he exclaimed, helping the girl up from the dusty ground. "lili didn't tell us you were here!"

"well, she doesn't know!" peyton laughed. "actually, i'm trying to find her. do you know where she is?"

kj looked up for a minute. "i think she's filming right now. do you want me to tell her you're here?"

"no, no." peyton said. "i don't want to interrupt. do you mind if i hang out with you until she's done?"

"no, not at all." kj smiled. "you can come chill with cole and i."

"sounds good." peyton smiled. kj nodded and turned to walk. the blonde-headed girl followed the fake red-headed guy to a trailer labeled "kj apa". she could hear laughter from inside and she instantly felt at home.

"hey, guys!" kj said as he walked in. "i brought a friend." peyton peaked her head through the door and not only saw cole, but she saw ross and casey as well.

"there's a lot of testosterone in here." peyton laughed as she walked in.

all the boys got up and gave her a hug. "i feel like i already know you." cole said.

"same here." peyton laughed again. "why aren't you guys filming?"

"it's the -soon to be- infamous betty and veronica scene." ross said.

"don't you mean beronica?" peyton smirked.

"that's gonna go viral one day." kj smiled at her.

"let's hope." she smiled back.

"i just got a text from cami." casey said. "the scene's over."

"yay!" peyton exclaimed. "i can't wait to see my big sister."

just then, the trailer door opened and lili and cami walked inside. "peyton!" lili yelled as she ran to the shorter blonde and hugged her. "i didn't know you were here!"

"yeah, i didn't want to bother you while you were working." peyton smiled sheepishly.

"i see you've met the men." cami smirked.

"yes, and no offense boys, but i need out of here." peyton laughed.

"none taken." ross said. "we have a strong scent that is unusual for females."

"you aren't wrong about that." lili said. "come on." she ushered her younger sister out of the trailer.

"bye, peyton!" kj said before the door shut.

peyton laughed. "how was shooting today?"

"good." lili responded. cami was walking on the left side of peyton and lili was on the other. "it's a dream come true, it really is."

"onto better topics, any boys you thought were cute in there?" camila smirked.

"careful cams, your veronica is showing." lili smiled.

"then let it show." cami said. "i just want the juicy details."

"you are aware i have a boyfriend, right? did i not make that abundantly clear?" peyton joked.

"yes, but lili has told me stories about that clay and i just don't think he's the most stand-up guy." cami said.

"you've never met him." peyton said. "he's a really great guy, but lili can't see past that."

"do you not remember last christmas?" lili asked. "when he-"

"stop." peyton said, grabbing lili's hand. "he's changed."

"people don't change." lili said. "they just get really good at hiding."

"you're wrong." peyton said, letting go of her sister's hand.

"i'm right." lili said. "and you know it."

cami looked at the two of them with wide eyes. "what about cole?"

"cami!" peyton exclaimed. "i am in love with someone else."

"doesn't mean you can't have someone else in case you and clay don't work out." cami said.

"they won't." lili added. peyton sent her a glare.

"we will." peyton said. "so i'm not even going to think about other guys."

"ross?" cami asked again as they reached the trailer that all the girls were in. when peyton rolled her eyes she continued, "kj?" peyton didn't roll her eyes, but instead she smirked to herself. luckily, no one else saw her do it.
