Well, we've never made an Author's Note before. So this is new.
This is basically an explanation to why this book hasn't updated in over a month, but before all that:
1) Sorry if you thought this was finally an update. We know how it feels to expect a new chapter and instead have an A/N, so we don't do them often. Or, well, at all. But this is obviously an exception.
2) And sorry if this explanation comes off as more of an excuse. That's the last thing we want. But, here's the reasons we haven't been writing.
First and foremost, it's just a lack of motivation. it's so much easier to not write vs. write, y'know? Simple as that. But no way we'd ever just abandon/discontinue this story, like, ever, so you don't need to worry about that. We'll update eventually. Always.
Secondly, Isa and I both have school. This is a common 'excuse,' but hey, that's for a reason. And finals are coming up, which obviously doesn't help. I think that's enough of an explanation.
It's also important to note that the entire plot of this story is written out in a Google Doc in bullet points, we just haven't gotten around to writing it. I know that seems like the easiest part (You have the whole thing written down, now just write it out! Isn't thinking of the ideas the hardest part?) But that transition from bullet points to a chapter we'd be proud to upload is harder than you'd think.
Anyways, hope you understand. We'll be back to writing soon, we promise. 'Soon' is kinda opened-ended, though, so I'll say within a few weeks. If we can't keep to that promise, bully us in the comments until we write something. That'll probably work.
