"I want tO DIE." I said, faceplanting into the bed and sighing loudly into the pillows.

"Me too." Jaiden agreed, heading towards her bed. "But we still have stuff to go to."

I shot up from the pillows, giving Jaiden a squint. "What do you meeeaann? I thought your signing was the last thing we had to do today?" Why must the world plague me so.

"You thought wrong, (Y/n)." Jaiden laughed, rummaging through her luggage. "Plus, it's only seven. There's plenty of time to do stuff!" Jaiden triumphantly pulled a flash of navy blue fabric out from her suitcase and turned around to face me.

"What'dya think?" Jaiden was holding up a pretty cute dress that reached down to her knees. It looked soft.

"It looks nice" I smiled genuinely, "but there's still a problem. I don't have a dress to wear."

That's when Jaiden got the most evil look on her face. I knew nothing good could come out of that.

"You forget, I always come prepared." She smirked, setting her dress down and looking through her suitcase again. After a few seconds she showed me a slightly shorter dress that was less plain, but still cute. I knew she only wanted me to wear it because of her promise to 'set me up' with Ethan. She was very transparent.

"Jaiideeeeenn." I whined. "Why are we even dressing up this fancy? Where are we going?" I was under the impression that we were done with stuff for the day. Personally, I was looking forward to sleeping. But Jaiden, apparently, had other plans.

"You change first, then me. We need to leave by seven." Jaiden ushered me into the bathroom with the dress and closed the door behind me. Looks like I didn't have a choice.

'Why is Jaiden acting so weird?' I thought to myself while slipping the dress on. 'She's being oddly secretive...' I didn't dwell on it for too long, though, and before I knew it Jaiden and I were walking to who-knows-where.

Well, I guess Jaiden knew.

"Here we are!" Jaiden finally said after a few blocks of walking. Now that we were here, I knew exactly where Jaiden had brought me.

The after-party.

"Jaiden, why." Was all I said, deadpanning. Just why.

"C'mon, (Y/n), It'll be fun!" Jaiden continued walking towards the entrance. "Plus, I basically have to go. Which means you have to go too."

I couldn't argue with that, so I let Jaiden lead the way into the crowds of people. She seemed to know where she was going, so I let her lead the way.

"Hey, I'm gonna get myself a drink. Want anything?" Jaiden asked after we had been at the party for a good ten minutes. A drink sounded good right about now.
