He just stared at me for almost a minute. I can't explain the emotion on his face. It's as if seeing me was really a good thing. I'm starting to get nervous.
"It is so nice to see you here." He said, smiling at me.
"Well, thank you," I replied as I took a glance on Bridget to see her reaction. She's biting her lower lip to keep herself quiet.
"Have you thought about it again?" He asked.
His eyes were filled with anticipation, hoping that I would say yes. I have consulted this already with Damian and he even encouraged me to do it.
"Yes, and I would gladly accept it." His smile widened when he heard my answer.
"Tomorrow. 9 o'clock in the morning, alright?"
"Sure, Mr. Greco. I'll be there."
"Okay, see you tomorrow, Miss Hesse." He just smiled, showing his white teeth. He turned his back and started walking away.
He made my heart race just to ask me and tell me that? I asked to myself. He could have just called me or sent me a mail.
I shook my head and headed back to Damian.
"Sera!" Bridget called. I forgot about her.
I looked at her direction and just gave her an apologetic smile. If Greco didn't appear, maybe she's already interrogating me right now. Well, thanks to him.
"Where have you been?" Damian asked. I just sat on my seat and didn't even bother to answer his question.
"Hey, I am asking you. Where have you been?"
"I was with Bridget, okay?" I don't know. I felt so irritated with his question. I don't feel talking to him right now. It's as if he has no right to ask me that.
I didn't look at him for a moment. I don't know.
"What's the problem, Sera?" He asked again for the second time.
The party has already ended and we were already walking towards his car. I know, it's lame. I was getting angry at him even though he didn't do anything wrong, but I can't just ignore him. He's too cute.
"Nothing. I'm just not in the mood. I'm so sorry."
"No, it's alright." He smiled, but I can see sadness in his face.
I smiled. He looked adorable.
He opened the right door in front of the car for me and immediately closed it as soon as I got inside. He started the engine and drove me home.
A few hours later, I got home safely because of him. He got down his car to open the door in my side and took my hand to help me get out of his car.
"Thank you," I said.
"See you again?" He smiled. It tickled my heart for a second. Damn, it was so nice seeing that genuine smile of him.
"Sure." My cheeks dimpled.
"It's already late. I think I should go inside." I added.
"Ah, yes. Good night."
"Good night," I said as a goodbye, walking at him, then I hurriedly went inside, not even looking at him. I don't know. My heart was pumping my blood so hard that I can feel the blood rushing through my veins.
I leaned my back on the door as soon as I closed it and pressed my hand on my chest. It's booming so loud; I can hear my heart beating faster like a car.
I was so busy calming myself when I saw a silhouette walking down the stairs. It's Mom.
"Sera, are you there?" Mother called.
