My Royal Romance...

A Date-ish ?...

Hey guys !.. sorry I didn't update yesterday .. this chapter took longer than I thought to write.. again so sorry .. I'm going to update twice today to make up for yesterday 😊... hope you guys like the chapter!..❤️

Hi!.. so I spent the morning teaching the kids and came home..the rest of the morning I spent decorating my room with some Polaroid pictures and fairy lights.. after lazing around for I bit I went down and made myself and my uncle some pasta for lunch .. my uncle is a very popular writer in Cornelia ..so he stays at home most of the time.. after cleaning the dishes I decided to explore a little and decided to go into town ..I decided to wear some ripped boyfriend jeans , a plain one tee , a pastel blue leather jacket and some platform white vans.. I decided to put my hair up in a ponytail and curled the ends .. as I started walking towards the market I saw a lot of Cornelian flags being hung ..so I asked a gentleman what was going on and he said .. "oh.. it's the Prince's 19th Birthday in 2 days!!.." oh..it's nice that the whole town celebrates!.. I continued walking until I reached a river with some boats for tourists.."Would you like to go ?" Said a very familiar voice so I quickly turned around to see who it was ..I jumped a little and said " Nathan is that you ?"... "yes.. and I would appreciate it if you could keep your voice down ..." he said laughing .. "What are you doing in town ?" I asked.. "I was actually visiting a children's shelter and on my way back I saw you .. " .. "oh.. that's really nice !..I would love to visit the Children's shelter !" I said with very big smile !.. "The next time I go I'll take you with me.. and back to my question .. would you like to go on one of the boats ?" He asked with a grin .. I smiled and said "I would love to .. " ... so here I am .. sitting in a two persons paddle boat with the Prince of Cornelia!!.. it seems so surreal.. "so would you like to play a game ?.. " "sure !" I say .. "so it's like 20 questions but it's 20 questions we ask each other about each other.. if that makes sense" he says laughing .. "okay!.. sounds fun.. you want to start ?" I ask.. "okay.. umm.. I'll keep it simple.. favourite colour?".. he asks "pastel pink , baby blue, black and white" I say laughing .. "what about you ?" I ask .. "well I too have a few.. blue , red , black and white.." he says laughing "favourite kind of food ?" I ask .. "ITALIAN" we both say in unison and start laughing .. "perfect date ?"..he asks .. "oh.. easy .. I'm a hopeless romantic ..so.. a drive in movie ..where I can sit with my date at the back of the truck with loads of blankets and pillows so we can cuddle and our favourite snacks..".."sounds perfect" he says with a gorgeous smile looking me straight in the eye..I can feel butterflies in my stomach .. how does he have this effect on me ?! I've only known him for two days ?!.."what about you ?".. I ask .. "what's your perfect date like?"... "well.. something we have in common is that I'm a hopeless romantic myself.. and I'd like to keep things simple and personal .. I would take my date to this tree which means a lot to me and I would cook her a meal and make it a picnic .. "..  .."that sounds perfect " I say with a smile..we continue asking each other questions until we reach the end of the river .. it's almost 6:00 pm ..and we decided to call it a day as our families were expecting us.. "May I walk you home ?" He asks.. I smile and nod.. "so how do you usually celebrate your birthday?" I ask referring to all the flags around us.. "In the morning I usually have to attend this royal ceremony and in the evening I usually have a ball where I invite my friends and my family" he finishes .."I thought I'll ask you once we reached your house.. but now that you've brought it up.. it would really mean a lot to me if you came to my birthday ball.." he asks ..by now I was smiling like an idiot .. "I would love to" I say .. he smiles back and says "great!.. I'll send the invitation to you in morning".. we both smile at each other and start walking again... "speaking of birthdays .. when is yours ?".. he asks .. "8th June" I say..with a smile.."wait .. that's a day after mine !!.." he says with a huge grin .. I smile and nod..before he could say anything we stop at my gate.. "thank you for a lovely evening .. I had a great time with you" I say with a smile.. "no .. thank you .. I had a really great time as well.. I really like spending time with you " he says .. I smile and say "likewise!" I grin and both of us exchange numbers and bid each other goodnight.. I know .. I have the Princes number..!!.. I finish eating dinner and go to my room and change into so comfy shorts and a jumper.. as I lay in bed..I get a message..
