The next morning we were told to dress formally so I quickly got dressed and met everyone in the ballroom ..

As I walked into the ballroom I saw the Queen , Nathan , Matt , Tom , Liam , Ellen , Rose and Scarlet .. they all had blank expressions on their faces.. the girls were just as confused as I was .. all of us were asked to take a seat .. "Girls .. I know this is sudden .. but each year we have a Royal meet where the extended Royal Family will join us here at the palace for a week .. now I know the competition is still going on and we have had quite a few interruptions .. I have decided to pause the competition this week as we will all have our hands tied .. you are all free to go home for the week .. and thank you so much for being kind and understanding throughout this competition .. " the Queen said and ended her speech .. I looked around the room and some of the girls started discussing what they planned on doing for the rest of the week ... I really didn't know what to do .. I can't go home not now.. I need to know more about J.S .. I decided to Nathan up on his offer of lending me those books about Cornelia . So I walked up to his room and .. wait that's odd .. his room is open .. I went closer to knock and walk in but I had to turn around immediately.. my heart just sunk .. there was a lump in my throat .. Nathan was kissing Scarlet.. I know we aren't together but .. I thought we had a connection .. I ran across the corridor to my room but on the way I banged into someone .. I didn't bother looking at who it was .. I just ran and shut the door behind me .. I was crying .. why was I crying ?.. I'm stronger than this .. I have to forget about Nathan .. I was here for a reason .. the Competition .. not Nathan .. I made up my mind I was going to stay at the Castle and research .. I tried picking the lock on the diary .. but it didn't work .. it was almost 5 pm .. and I was starving .. I didn't go for lunch because I didn't want to look at Nathan .. I changed into something decent as the guests would be arriving today and I didn't want bump into someone in shorts and a hoodie ..

I asked Sophie and Alison if they could bring me some food and while I was waiting I decided to walk into the library ..I just started walking and found myself opposite the shelf where I found the diary but there was something different .. it was Matt .. he was pulling every single book out of that shelf .. as if he was looking for something .. "everything alright ?" .. he looked at me in shock .. I don't think he expected to see me there .. "uh.. yeah yeah .. I was just looking for something ..it's stupid .." he said scratching the back of his neck.. I smiled at him and gestured for him to talk more .. "many years ago as kids .. Nathan , Liam , Tom and I found an old bag with a diary in it.. it was locked and we would look for the key.. we kind of made a game out of it you know.. it was fun .. it brought us closer .. but we never found that key ..some part of me wanted to revisit .. but the diary is missing .." he said looking back at the shelf .. I wanted to tell him that I had the diary but Sophie came in and called me to the garden to eat .. I asked Matt if he wanted to join me .. we both sat outside and I told him the whole story of how I found the diary and my theories of who J.S could be .. we kept talking about the possibilities of where the key could be .. just then a very VERY handsome guy walked up to our table .. he was tall had brown hair and gorgeous smile with incredible body .. wow.. "hello Jason !" Matt held out his hand and Jason shook it .. "hello Matt .. it's been a while .. " he smiled and then looked at me... I smiled back at him .. "aah.. you know you look so much better with that smile than a sad face.. " he said looking at me intensely .. I just smiled back .. with a little confusion .."we bumped into each other outside Nathan's room" he said clearly understanding my confusion .. I smiled at him.. "oh !.. " "where are my manners .. hello I'm Jason Scott and you are ?" .. "Juliet ... Juliet Snow.." I said smiling back .."watch a bit of James Bond do you ?" He said with a wink .. "my apologies that was very lame" he said cracking up and I was laughing too .. "don't worry I'm probably worse than you are" I said still laughing a bit .. did I forget to mention how amazing his accent was ?.. the Cornelian accent is exactly like the British accent.. "Forgive me my lady but you need to get ready for the ball" Sophie said interrupting our conversation .. there was ball in honour of the guests .. Matt excused himself and left as he too had to get ready .. "Juliet .. I would love to take you as my date to the ball .. that is if you'll allow me.." Jason asked with a very genuine smile .., I smiled ... "Yes..."
