My Royal Romance...

The first day..

Hey guys ! I'm so sorry that I didn't update yesterday..☹️...I hope you guys liked the book so far .. thank you so much for reading ❤️

I woke up at 6:00 in the morning and went to Martha's to tell her about the competition and that I won't be able to volunteer for a while .. once I got back home I was told that the carriage would pick me up at 8:00 so that gave me an hour to get ready since it was already 7:00.. I went upstairs and took a shower and decided to wear a simple structured pastel yellow skater dress with pearl earrings and nude stilettos.. I loosely curled my hair and pinned half of it at the back ...for make up .. I put on some thin eyeliner and pink lipstick with very little blush , highlight and contour .. once I was ready I took the suitcase down with me and ate some breakfast with my aunt and uncle .. just as we finished cleaning up there was a knock on the door .. as I opened it there was a guard in uniform and said "your carriage awaits ma'am" i nodded and hugged my aunt and uncle goodbye and headed outside .. there was a beautiful  spherical pearl white carriage with pastel pink and gold detailing.. it had two white horses in the front .. as the door opened there was a quilted pastel pink seat on either side with beautiful white cushions.. I sat inside while the guard put the suitcase at the back and shut the door .. after a good 20 minutes we reached the castle where I saw similar carriages drawn up in front in different colours .. as I stepped out .. I saw 12 other girls do the same .. and wow.. they look amazing .. each one of them is so beautiful..
     We all collected our luggage and were asked to assemble in the ballroom ... all of us put our luggage in one corner and stood in a line .. moments later the Queen and Nathan walked in..
We all curtsied at the same time .. "Good morning .. I hope your ride was pleasant .." the Queen says with a smile .. "so I would like to talk about the rules and how the competition goes about" she says .."all of you will have princess training in the morning for two hours everyday.. after that you are given a task for the day .. which you will get time to prepare for .. you will each be given two Maids to help you through your journey during the competition.. anyone who fails at a task will be eliminated.. now not all tasks have a eliminations ..I wish you girls all the very best and may the best women win !" She says with a smile .. we all thank her and turn around to collect our bags .. as we start walking out .. a guard handed each of us a sheet with directions and information about our room and as we left we were accompanied by our maids ..
"Hello my name is Sophie and this is Alison"Sophie said gesturing to herself and Alison .. "hello .. my name is Juliet.." I say with a smile .. "would you like us to help to your room miss ?" Alison asks .."yes please and please call me Juliet.." I say with a smile ..they nod and smile back .. they told me that our rooms were in the East Wing .. after we climbed a huge staircase we entered a beautifully decorated corridor.. it had 7 rooms on each side of the corridor.. my room was all the way at the end of the corridor but my room was different from the others .. in front of my room door there was another corridor but on the other side there was only one room.. as I opened my room door there was a huge king size bed with chiffon draping hanging from the polls of the bed ..next to my bed there were two doors one with a walk in closet and the second a bathroom .. on the other side .. there was a a balcony with two glass doors and beautiful curtains.. opposite my bed was a fireplace with a beautiful quilted sofa and a table and right next to the fireplace was a a small table with two seats .. the whole room was decorated in pastel colours it was almost like this room was designed to my preferences ..
  I decided to start unpacking as princess training doesn't start till one hour.. I placed my scented candle on the table by sofa .. put my clothes in my closet and put my picture frames on the same table as the candle.. I asked Sophie if the palace had any fairy lights .. she said she would bring them for me .. after 5 minutes she was back with the fairy lights .. I draped some over the curtains and some on the polls of the bed.. once I was done they told me it was time for training .. we headed to the ballroom where we saw 13 tailors and a very well dressed lady with another women who seemed like her assistant.. "Hello girls !.. welcome to Princess Training .. I am your teacher and my name is Rachel .. and this is my assistant Zoey.. your assignment today is very simple .. you each have to design a dress for tonight as you will have your first meal with the Queen and the Prince .. your Maids and the tailors will help you .. good luck !!" She said with a smile .. I head to a corner with Sophie , Alison and Richard who was the tailor I was assigned  .. I picked a stiff navy blue matte fabric .. I designed a halter neck dress that was cinched at the waist and flowed out like a gown .. it was very simple but it was me .. along with the dress I designed a sheer navy blue shawl that I could just drape on my elbows .. once I gave the design to Richard he smiled at me and said "I think we are going to have a great time designing together" I smiled at him .. he took my measurements and started off on the dress .. since we had free time I decided to go mingle with the other girls .. I saw them all sitting on a sofa so I decided to go introduce myself .. "Hello !.. my name is Juliet" I said with a smile .. they all smiled back at me except 3 of them ... they all greeted and told me their names .. Amanda , Melissa , Grace , Joan , Linda , Sara , Taylor , Brianna , Jessica and May.. and the three girls who didn't smile didn't even speak to me .. I found out from the others .. that their names were Victoria , Kate and Cara ... apparently Kate and Cara were Victoria's minions .. we couldn't speak much as it was time for lunch .. We were all served lunch in our rooms .. I had spicy pumpkin soup with some bread and for dessert we were served a fruit tart .. Alison told me that I had a fitting at 5:00 and that dinner was served at 8:00..so I decided to watch some One Tree Hill till 5:00 .. after watching 5 episodes it was time for my fitting .. Richard walked in with the gown and it looked perfect .. when I tried it on the dress fit like a glove .. after admiring it I thanked Richard for the dress .. my Maids told me that it was time to start getting ready as it was almost 6:00.. they drew me a nice bath and as I walked into the bathroom they showed me a selection of bath bombs from lush .. I chose the intergalactic bath bomb.. after my bath I put on a fluffy rob and slippers and walked out .. Sophie and Alison dried my hair and they began straightening it .. they asked me what hairstyle I wanted .. "a French twist" I said .. they smiled and styled my hair.. once they were done they asked me if I wanted them to do my make up .. I decided to do my own make up .. I decided to with very simple eye make up .. I put a very thin layer of eyeliner and put on a lot of mascara .. I went with a bold dark red lip and once again I did very light highlight and contour and very little blush .. once I was done .. I put on my dress and wore silver heels .. I put on tiny dangling earrings with some stones .. once I was done I draped the sheer shawl on my elbows and thanked Alison and Sophie and headed to the dining room.. as I walked in .. I saw Victoria wearing a hot red body con dress with a plunging neckline and her minions Kate and Cara wore matching hot pink mermaid tail gowns .. all the other girls went overboard with their gowns and went heavy on the make up .. and suddenly I felt really underdressed ..

Nathan's P.O.V

Mother and I were waiting in the dining room with the other girls .. as I was looking around I saw her .. I think my jaw dropped ..yup it dropped .. she looked amazing !.. her black hair was styled perfectly and her gown was so elegant and appropriate just like how princess's gown would be ... I walked up to her and greeted her .. "you look absolutely amazing Juliet.." "thank you"she smiled and curtsied .. aah... I really wanted to hug her if my mother and other girls weren't here.. I didn't realise that everyone was staring at us .. both Juliet and I started blushing .. but my mother came to our rescue and asked everyone to sit .. my mother sat at one and of the table and I sat at the other end .. Juliet sat right next to my mother and I couldn't keep my eyes off her and I think some of the other girls picked up on that and I think my mother did too .. once we were done with dinner I offered to drop her to her room .."so how is the competition treating you so far ?" I asked .. "pretty good so far .. but I haven't gotten a chance to speak to any of the girls yet.. I hope we get to mingle more.." she said with a smile ..I smiled and said.."well as the competition keeps going you girls usually get a lot of time to mingle .. and I'm really glad you're here".. she smiled and said "me too.. and ..this is my room..".. "wait this is your room ?" .. I smiled and asked .."yes .. why ?" She asked .. "well.. you see that room down the corridor opposite your room .. well.. that's my room" I said grinning like an idiot .. her eyes widened and she had a huge smile on her face .."well it's nice to know that you are right down the corridor.." she said .. "well.. goodnight Nathan and thank you for walking me to my room"..she said .."goodnight Juliet" I said kissing her on the cheek ..she smiled and walked into her room.. once she was gone I headed to mine ..
