Juliet's P.O.V
"Nathan.. what's wrong ?!" I said still holding him.. "Juliet.. I .. I can't marry Scarlet.." I think my heart skipped a beat . This was like music to my ears but Nathan was hurting and that changed everything .
Nathan's P.O.V
How do I tell her what I saw .. how do I tell her that she was just a pawn in this game that was ready to be knocked off.. I have to !. I have to tell her.. "Juliet.. there is something I have to tell you .. " she looked worried as if she knew what was coming wasn't pleasant .. "Juliet .. on my way here I heard whispering .. when I looked into the library where the sound was coming from I saw Scarlet and Jason . This isn't strange but what they said was . They were arguing about something taking too long and they were talking about you ... and when Scarlet asked him how long it would take to find the diary he said he was working on it.. Juliet .. what are they talking about ..?.." I asked very concerned .. "Nathan I've been meaning to tell you this.. a while back I found an old diary in a dusty bag in the library .. the diary is locked but it has the initials J.S engraved on it. At first I thought it was for the late Queen Jessica Sawyer but then I came across the name James Scott who was very close to the Royals but now.. I think it could also stand for.." "Jason Scott" he said taking it all in .. "But it doesn't make sense because the timelines wouldn't add up.." I said getting agitated . "Juliet .. I think the Scotts maybe after the diary .. I think the diary belongs to James Scott and Scarlet and Jason are somehow related to him..". "Wait Jason and Scarlet are related ?" I asked .. "Yeah they are siblings .. I thought you knew..".. "oh.." how did I not put this together .. now that I think of it they do look alike.. "Juliet tomorrow I don't have much planned.. do you think we could spend the day figuring this out ?.. I could help with all the Royal Family information that isn't written in the books and if the Scotts want the diary it is definitely not good .." Nathan asked seriously .. "yeah yeah !.. of course." .

The next day I woke up early and quickly got dressed and went down to the kitchen to make Nathan and I some breakfast as it was still 6:30 am.

I quickly whipped up some spinach omelettes , a bowl of strawberries and mangoes and some Hot Chocolate . Just as I put everything in a tray Nathan walked in.. he looked gorgeous how can someone look so effortlessly good..

I think I was staring a little too long cause just then I heard his was .." Like what you see ?" He asks with a playful smirk.. I couldn't help but blush .. "you look so cute when you blush .." he said coming closer .. "uh.. I made breakfast !"... what was that ?!.. "Aah !.. nice.. but you didn't have to." He said and took the tray from me headed to the library .. the guards opened the door and we went past the books and the shelves and we reached the end of the room .. I've never been here before .. he opened a well concealed door and inside there was a round coffee table and on either side there was a staircase which went up to a private library and in the corner was a fire and a bay window.. this was so perfect .. "This is the private library for the Royal Family only .. it has some books that only we can see and is not available to the guests.." he said setting the food down on the coffee table .. "You look beautiful today .." he said after finishing his fruit bowl.. I felt conscious of myself .. I looked down at my outfit and then back at him "I pretty much through on whatever I could find at 5:30 in the morning" I said laughing a little .. "well .. to be honest anything you wear looks good .. " he said with a genuine smile.. I smiled back at him.
I pulled out the diary and gave it to Nathan .. "Nathan do you know where the key is ?" .. he was examining the book and carefully looking at the keyhole ..."I've seen this diary before . I found it when I was a kid but I didn't really get much time to look at it. But I think I know where the key is .. Come on !" He said and hid the diary in his jacket and bolted out towards the Banyan tree. We walked into the secret tunnel and kept walking .. Nathan kept examine each painting . I am so confused . At last he stopped at a painting . It was a painting of the first King and Queen. They are seen facing each other looking into each other's eyes and holding hands .. then my eyes looked at what Nathan was doing .. the frame of the painting had a lot of metal work and detailing and I created with blue sapphires , rubies and emeralds .. Nathan kept touching it until he stopped only ten did I notice that each corner of the frame had to keys engraved to form hearts .. but then I realised . Nathan took some time but he finally pulled the key out .. out of 8 of them only the 1 was real . "I can't believe it worked !.. I remember touching this frame as a kid ..this was my favourite painting of theirs and I realised that one key was higher than the others .." Nathan said happily .. we quickly headed back to the library and locked the door behind us .. Nathan took the dairy and put the key into the lock .. slowly he turned it and there it was the sound .. it clicked and the diary was unlocked..
