I arrived in record time and pounded on the door, undyne opened it and let me inside. "Wow you got here fast!" She exclaimed proudly. "I only just arrived myself and I live much closer." I looked at my shaking hands. "YEAH, I WAS RUNNING MOST OF THE WAY HERE." She took sans out of my arms and walked into a room downstairs while leaving me sitting on a chair. "I'll be back in a sec." She called. She came back a few minuets later and sat next to me. "Alphys is helping him at the moment just in case you were wondering." I nodded awkwardly, unsure of what to say while I thought about my injured brother. Undyne put an arm around my shoulder after seeing my grim expression. "Are you ok?" Small tears ran down my cheek and I sniffed slightly. "NO" i answered honestly. She pulled me into a strong hug. "It's ok alphys knows what she's doing, I'm sure he'll be fine." Her words sounded confident but one look on her face told me she wasn't. "Anyway if you don't mind me asking, how did this happen?" I told her what happened and began to cry again. "IT'S ALL MY FAULT, I'M SUCH A BAD BROTHER." she pat me on the back trying to be sympathetic. "It's not your fault, I'm sure sans will forgive you." I didn't respond, instead I twiddled with my thumbs waiting in painful silence till alphys came in looking exhausted with a sad look on her face. I stood up hoping for the best and dreading the worst. Alphys spoke quietly. "I t-tried my best to h-help him but...
