Sans POV
He began to shift as his eyes lit bright with strong magic. He smiled wider and summoned many gaster blasters. I gulped as they charged up and dodged the powerful beams with practised skill. I summoned my own bones and used them to block an attack while I teleported frisk to Toriel's house hoping that tori would look after them. Soon I was a panting mess and I got hit in the arm by a beam that I couldn't dodge in time. I clutched it while cursing lightly, at this rate Gaster was going to win. A blast hit the walls and they crumped down leaving bits of debris and a gaping hole into the cat walk above the core. I ran onto it trying to get some time to breath but Gaster was quick to follow and I brought myself into a fighting stance. "Gaster please, you don't have to do this." I begged, slightly fearing for my life. Gaster chucked. "I don't have to, I want to. Seeing others in pain is so much more interesting than boring science work. I always worked for other people, bowing down to the king. Well no more! I'm going to force everyone into despair and watch as people scream with terror in their eyes." Tears pricked at my eye sockets as a blaster hit the catwalk and it twisted to the side. I screamed as I slipped and fell towards the core, I grabbed the hand rail and held on tightly as gaster neared. He stepped on one of my hands and I let go, now dangling from one slipping hand. "Goodbye sans." Gaster smiled as he went to step on my other hand. I called out for help.......... But no body came
(Jk lol that's not what happened.)
A bone abruptly pierced through Gaster's soul and he let out a strangled cry. Papyrus suddenly appeared behind him with a guilty expression. Gaster fell to his knees and his soul shattered, he glared at me as it did so and Papyrus's LV increased. He ran over to me and helped me up, hugging me with tears in his sockets. "I'M SORRY I DIDN'T GET HERE FASTER, SANS YOUR THE BEST BROTHER EVER AND I'M NEVER GONNA LET YOU GO AGAIN. I LOVE YOU BRO." I smiled as a warmth filled my heart. "I love you t-" my sentence was cut off when I collapsed in his arms shaking violently. Pain blurred my vision and papyrus held me looking shocked and worried. "SANS, WHAT'S WRONG?" I breathed deeply and pulled out my soul. It was cracked from all the damage I took which was a fatal wound to most monsters. Papyrus teared up. "NO NO NO, YOU CAN'T DIE. I WON'T LET YOU LEAVE ME. IT'LL BE FINE, I'LL CALL ALPHYS. SEE CAN FIX THIS." I spaced out and let myself fall asleep.
