part 11

Papyrus POV.

The house was strangly quiet and I missed sans when he wasn't around, he was always so distant and it made me so upset that he didn't want me in his life that much anymore. The door flung open and sans came in, I was about to scold him for being late but I noticed a tall stranger behind him. "WHO'S THAT?" I asked looking at the man who was smiling. He stepped forward. "I am W.D gaster, your father." My jaw dropped and I looked over in disbelief at sans who nodded to confirm gasters statement. "BUT WHY DON'T I REMEMBER YOU? AND WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" He looked remorseful and slightly ashamed. "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you two, I had an accident and I could not interact with reality but I missed you both so much. I was in the void but I was watching you both this whole time." Small tears sprung to my eyes and I hugged him. "WELL I'M GLAD YOUR HERE NOW." His smile reminded me of sans's fake smile he put on but maybe I was just being suspicious. This man gives me a strange feeling that makes me uncomfortable around him but sans seemed ok with him so maybe I should trust him. Gaster left shortly afterwards to study in his lab while I went to Undyne's to watch anime with her and alphys.

Sans POV.

Gaster left to do experiments in his lab but I couldn't come, he said that it was best if I didn't see what he was doing but that only increased my curiosity. After he left I followed him staying out of sight. He walked briskly through the halls, mumbling to himself until he reached his office. He pulled out a book from the draw and wrote in it till he shut it and left the room. I crept in and opened the book which was a journal.

Entry 25
I'm back, I'm finally back. I can continue my work and he won't be able to stop me this time. I've been waiting for this moment for years.

Entry 26
Curious, he does not remember me, oh well. This'll make things much more interesting.

Entry 27
The preparations are almost complete and I'll finally be able to finish my real project. Sans.

I read over them again, this doesn't make any sense I wish I could remember right now cause I feel like something bad is going to happen. Shuffling from the hallway alerted me and I teleported out in panic. I found myself in another room filled with dust. There was a metal table with restraints on it and I had another flashback.

~flashback~
My hands were tighed tightly to the table and I squirmed around desperate to free myself. Gaster came in with a wicked smile. "Dad! Stop p-please I'm s-scared." He grabbed a needle filled with determination. "You should be." He plunged it into me and I screamed.
~flashback end~

I stepped away with my whole body shaking in fear. Untill the door opened. Gaster looked at me and I trembled back away from his glair. "I see you've finally remembered, but that doesn't matter. You won't escape this time." I stayed still, frozen to the spot. "W-what are y-you gonna d-d-do?" He lifted me up with his magic. "Finish what I started, I promised that I'd find us all a way out of here eventually. I was a good father to you a long time ago but things have to change and I did change. I won't let my emotions stop me from doing what needs to be done." I fought against his magic with all my might but he was too strong. He grabbed a syringe. "Night night sans." My vision faded slowly and darkness consumed me.

(WOW that was intense, you know at first I was gonna make gaster a good person but my friend asked me if he could be evil so I did, the things I do for my friends. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this, we are reaching the end of this book so there's only about 3 chapters left. Enjoy.)
