Chapter 9

It's been a few days since I found my parents. Well more so since they found me. Life with my parents is great. Melissa likes my mom a lot while my dad and Lucas have been bonding a lot. They went hunting together yesterday and when they got back they sat on the balcony and look over the town. I've come to the realization that my dad and I won't have that special father daughter bond some fathers and daughters have. My mom and I however we have a pretty strong connection. We walked around town with Melissa while my dad and Lucas went out. Now that I have my parents, I feel like I actually have a real family. A real biological family...

"Lucas Degage get your butt in this room right now or I swear to freaking god your favorite suit will not live to see another day!", I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"What did I do to cause you to yell at me?", he asked walking into our bedroom.

"There's no more shampoo and conditioner, and no more soap. Did you seriously not refill it. Again?", I asked.

"Chill baby. I had someone on it but I guess some people just can't do their job right", he replied.

I dropped the empty shampoo bottle and began brushing my hair.

"You know how important this dinner is. It only happens once in a life time", I said.

"My dad having dinner with your parents may be a big deal to you but to me it's just something I'm required to be at", he said fixing his hair.

"What bit you in the neck?", I asked.

"I'm sorry I've just been under lots of stress. Being a king isn't as easy as it looks. There's just so many people who need me to do things and I can't help everyone", he replied sitting on the bed.

I rubbed his shoulders and sighed.

"I know. No one said being a king would be easy but I know you can do it and I'll be here with you", I said.

He nodded and sighed.

"So where are your parents?", he asked.

"In their room getting ready. We need to hurry your dad will be here in a few minutes", I replied.

I walked over to the closet and pulled out a black cocktail dress with my black heels then walked into the bathroom. I looked under the sink and found some more shampoo, conditioner and soap. I sighed and took a quick shower, did my hair, make up and got dressed. By the time I was ready Lucas was tying his tie and we were ready to go. I seriously hope everything goes well....

Ya girl is back!!! Sorry this took so long I was out of ideas for the book and had to throw something together. But the next chapter will tell you how the dinner goes. Love you my little flames!!!
