After we got to the front of the school, Garroth and Laurance went off to do their own things and Zane and I were left to wait. It had been a long silence that had been killing me, especially since he didn't seem to be bothered by it. In fact, he almost seemed used to it. "So... I'm guessing you don't like to talk much..." I tried to converse. He sighed, before responding with, "No. I don't like to talk. Now, why don't you go do your own thing while you wait for the school to open its doors..." I stood, shocked, but realized that he was acting just like a werewolf would to a Meif'wa or human. Taste of our own medicine.
Once the bell rang, everyone was piled in and I quickly realized that getting around wouldn't be easy. I took out my map and followed it, having marked every room I needed to go to. I followed it to homeroom, immediately noticing that Zane was in my class. I sat next to him, observing the other people in the room. A boy with platinum white hair and green emerald eyes was staring at me with a nervous look. He waved and I smiled. 'At least I know that someone in here will be at least a little kind to me.' I thought. A girl with bright bubblegum pink hair was watching another girl with auburn-colored hair. The pink-haired girl was most definitely a Meif'wa, having amber eyes, with a pale skin complexion. The auburn-haired girl had silvery gray eyes and a pale-white complexion and was staring right at the teacher, waiting for homeroom to begin. The first bell rang, and the teacher bolted up from his chair and got up in front of the class, when a girl with medium length black hair, caramel eyes, and a tan complexion came in. I wasn't listening to exactly what was being stated but she sat next to the boy with white hair, and the teacher announced that we would have a few minutes to talk and then we would head to the gym to see all the upperclassmens' clubs. I glanced around to see mostly everyone talking. "Hey." The white-haired boy came up to me, the black-haired girl next to him. "I'm Travis! What's your name?" Travis smiled as he awaited my answer. "Y/N." I told them. "Y/N? I like that name! I'm Aphmau!" The girl exclaimed, her face tinted red from laughing. "Thanks, A-Ap..mou?" I tried to pronounce her name. She giggled again, but before she could say anything, our teacher told us to line up to head to the gym. So that's four human friends so far. Have humans and Werewolves changed their hate for each other all of a sudden?

"Nice job! You caught the ball with your face dork!" A powder blue-haired girl said. At that moment, Garroth came over to tell the girl who hit Travis with the volleyball off, and so-not wanting to get involved-I separated from our little "Not Alone Buddies" group as we called it.
The upperclassmen had many clubs ranging from the Witchcraft Club, to the Baseball Club. I found most interest in the Werewolf Club,-with me being a werewolf-as well as with the Music Club. But the Theater and Writing Clubs seemed cool as well. In the end, I joined the Werewolf club, to be immediately met with the school Alpha Male, a dark brunette, with maroon red eyes, and a pale complexion. Balto, was his name, and I kind of admit that I trusted him because his name meant that he was bold, brave, and a great ruler. But, as nice as he was, he did not have an Alpha Female, and spent most of the time trying to become closer to me, and all the other female Werewolves.... that's not a great quality to have.
I was pretty flattered, especially since being alpha of any pack was anyone Werewolves' goal, but I denied, not wanting to take on the role as a freshman, because I know I would be flabbergasted. Plus, I didn't want to seem like I thought I was better than everyone else.
Balto also seemed too desperate for me, following me around to everywhere I went, eventually catching Zane's eye....Somehow. "What are you doing?!" Zane questioned him, disgusted by how attached Balto seemed. "She will be my Alpha Female!" Balto answered excitedly. Zane gave me a questioned look- as if he cared to see if the Werewolf bothered me, but didn't care at all for me at the same time. "Balto...I don't know if I want to take on the role as Alpha Female..." I said shyly, knowing that werewolves were supposed to listen to the Alphas no matter what they thought or how they felt about them. "What?!?" Balto said with a confused, but kind of angry look. "Don't forget... I'm YOUR Alpha, and the pack always listens to the Alpha... Unless you want to become the new Omega." I stared wide-eyes at Balto, not wanting to be the Omega for the rest of High School.
I was about to accept the role from annoyance when Zane put his arm in front of me and yelled, "She does not have to listen to anyone, no matter who they are! Nobody can be controlled by anyone! Even I know that!" Balto's face turned from embarrassment-from being yelled at by a human-to anger and before I knew it, they were yelling back and forth, words that I would not dream of even  muttering. And so, I walked off, walking always from the problem, and wondering, 'Why on Irene's Earth would Zane stand up for me? Didn't he say that he wanted nothing to do with me?"
As I walked off, everyone circling around them to watch them verbally fight, I heard something that freaked me out. A broken window... 'Great. Just great.' I thought angrily, knowing that humans always found a way to call werewolves "dangerous". I don't think there was an exception there.

Hey GUYS! This chapter wasn't exactly great, but I wanted to show how the reader was having a bit of a problem with her new werewolf pack, and how she observed and took in all the greatness of High School by observing everyone's attitudes, postures, and actions, and seeing how everyone had their own personalities and were unique. The reader thought that even with a school with such a diverse amount of students, she would still be judged. Also Zane will be one of her greatest friends in the future (like how Aphmau and Zane are best friends in the future) so that's why he's standing up to her-he only stands of up for the people that he knows and are kind to him, I'm guessing. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
-Your grateful little werewolf,
Isabelle
