"Did you hear about the human Omega?" Dottie asked, as we sat in our werewolf class at the end of the day. Aphmau and our human Omega sat in the back right corner of the room, Balto sitting directly in front of the Omega, as if to keep him in check. I caught him eying me. Supposedly, Balto had tried to lunge onto Zane while yelling at each other, and Zane had most definitely lost in the fight...
"Ya......I wonder who our new Alpha Female will be..." I whispered to Dottie. She blushed, causing her pale complexion to have a huge contrast-especially with her purple hair and dark blue eyes-and reminded me of how Balto wanted me to take on that role. I rolled my eyes, not wanting to show how I actually thought of Balto as cute and determined...For a werewolf of course.
'Ringggg' The last bell rang."Woo! First day as a freshman at school's, out!" Dottie exclaimed, her ears and tail showing how happy she was to hear the bell ring. I gathered my stuff and was about to start walking home but was quickly stopped by Balto. "Your friend was protective and determined." He bragged, "But he wasn't nearly as strong or confident like me!" I was about to run off, not caring to even listen because I knew what he was going to ask. But, I knew that I should just listen anyway..."Please...be my Alpha Female..." I searched my mind for an answer. Did I have a choice? He was the Alpha. My Alpha. And all werewolves had to follow their Alpha's orders... "Yes." I said resistantly, "I'll be your Alpha Female." I tried to hide my frown from the werewolf. He was kinda great for a werewolf. But to humans? I know I've never cared about humans, but...they aren't what they seemed like-selfish, rude, and uncaring. At least the humans I've made friends with so far aren't like that.
I honestly I would've known how big of a mistake it was to give in and say yes.

"WHAT?!?" Zane said with a angered but confused voice. I had just told Garroth, Laurance, and Zane about being the Alpha Female. Garroth and Laurance were just flat out confused about the Alpha, Beta, and Omega thing, while Zane looked at me with regret for actually standing up for me. 'So he literally regrets trying to help me?Jerk' My thoughts wandered. 'All those pesky humans are just terrible jerks and female dogs...'
   "Seriously? You aren't the omega-at least not now-, so it's not like you would get hurt for saying your opinion?!" Zane told me off. 'He really knows a lot about werewolves for a human...' I thought in a confused manner. 'He knows more than Aph, and she's taking my werewolf class! And probably more than that stupid human omega who has been taking Werewolf class for his fourth year now...That does remind me...how are two humans in my werewolf class?!?'
Anyway...Zane really seemed to dislike Balto for using his fists to fight earlier. "Yes Zane, Seriously!" I said boldly, "A~I HAVE to listen to the Alpha since they decide everything for our pack(though they won't really do anything to us if we do share our opinion, it's still technically a Werewolf law) and B~Balto can't be that bad. I mean he is the Alpha Male, and he had to earn that title in some way...Also, you heard what he said, I would have a chance of being made omega, if I didn't say yes." Zane "hmph"ed and turned away from me, directing his attention on Laurance and Garroth, obviously not caring about my "stupid" choice of becoming Alpha Female. Suddenly a girl came screaming our names towards us.
This girl with H/C -colored hair came running to our side. She basically had the same colored eyes and skin complexion as me. "Oh hey O/S/N." Garroth said enthusiastically. "Hey Garroth!" O/S/N smiled as she stated that. "Hey little sis!" She said with a baby voice towards me. Zane laughed since this time he wasn't the one being called the younger sibling.
"Shut up Zane." I called him out. Zane teased me by saying that he was sorry, but he couldn't speak baby. I was about to lunge at Zane-I should've realized that it would only make the werewolves and him situation worse-but I was stopped by Laurance. Laurance thought quickly of a way to stop me. He blushed and put his arm around me, causing me to flinch and punch him in the shoulder. "Yup, Zane." Laurance started, "I wouldn't mess with her anytime!" 'Nice way to distract me, idiot.' I hatefully thought of his stupid actions. We all laughed, me putting a mask over my hatefulness of him and apologizing for "hurting" him.
     Then I got revenge on that stupid Emo (it kept auto correcting it to Elmo...)human, by starting to tell everyone what had happened in the gym earlier.
     Zane quickly got angered but only glared at me. He silently threatened me, and I quickly changed the story to have no real winner in the fight. And so, while everyone else chattered their brains away, I whispered a deal to Zane.
"If you're nice to me, and respect my choices and opinions, no matter how stupid..." I spoke strictly. "Where is this leading to?" Zane asked, interrupting me. I ignored him and continued. "I'll be nice back to you, and we'll be friends!" I gave him a fake smile, and he rolled his eyes. "Seriously? Friends? This isn't some happy fairy tale where everything is all happiness and rainbows." He said gloomily. "I don't know! Humans do weird stuff, like weird stuff, and are just weird in general." I ranted. He gave me a 'What do you think Werewolves are? Normal?' look. "My point is.....if you're kind to me, I'll act the same way to you." He sighed and reluctantly agreed.
Well that was way easier than expected. A human boy who was being extremely rude to me, actually made a deal with me to be nice?!? Plus I made four other human friends with no effort! Was this how humans acted? They're weird..... but probably better than most Werewolves- And definitely WAY better than Meif'Was.
I'm not sure though... I've never had human friends.....could they really be better than what I've heard about them?
Werewolves and humans are different, but.... that won't stop us from being friends.

Hey guys! Sorry if this chapter is a little short(and bad). I'm trying to show how the reader isn't used to being around humans??? And how what she's heard about them, is wayyyy different then the truth.
Please let me know if there's anything I should fix and please leave suggestions!
