This chapter is extremely bad. I just needed a way to have the reader not trust humans that much, and it's not really going to well. If you're still reading this...I honestly don't know how you can make it this far.

I walked through the empty halls of the school that Friday, everyone scattering around the school, trying to get out since we had off on Monday. Labor Day, September 7th of 2015 it was, made everyone excited that-even though it was only the second week of school-we had an extra day that weekend.
'Woosh' went papers abandoned by rushing students. 'Hiss' Went the slight breeze flowing through the hall.
I took my time walking slowly towards the hall that would lead to the front door. But then, a different noise confronted me. *Thud* I heard, *Thud* as I slowly came to a stop to listen for the unwanted sounds.
"Hey, Puppy." A boy, standing in the shadows said. I turned swiftly, to be faced with Gene. He had his face about an inch from mine now, and I got startled. "Uh! Gene!" I said nervously. My voice shook with fear.
"Nice to see you...alone, in such a quiet place like this..."Gene evilly laughed, a sly grin appearing on his face. I backed up a bit, as he started to come even closer. "Ca-can I ask you something?" I stuttered, remembering something he told Dante and I earlier. "Yes, Puppy..." Gene said warily, his face becoming stern. I gathered up all the courage I had, a smirk appearing on my face. "What did you promise to Balto?" I said sternly. Gene's face turned playful once again, as he guffawed from my question.
"That, Puppy, is a question that-" I started to run off, but he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me back. "Alright, alright!" He yelled. "I promised Balto that I would grow your friendship with him, if he left Dante alone." I stood there, knowing that it wasn't the full story, but I still took what he said.
I turned away, and started to walk off. "Bya, Puppy!" Gene said cheerfully, as he watched me continue down the hall to the doors.
'I don't have any clue about what just happened, but all I know is that I need to get out of here.' I told myself, remembering the insult 'Puppy' that he called me. I was not some tiny weak mongrel! So he's lucky I didn't go off on him.

*Nine weeks later*
"Have you seen Dante around?" I asked Zane. He shook his head no. "Why would you want to?" I shook my head. "I don't know.... it's just..." I started to explain. "Hey Puppy!" A shadow knight yelled out. I looked up.
Zenix and Gene stood in front of us, Sasha standing to the side of me. "Gene?!?" Zane gasped and smiled brightly. I looked at him in confusion. "Go away, emo kid, I was talking to her." Gene told him angrily. I growled at him for talking to my friend like that. "Stay away, Shadow Knight!" I yelled at him. Gene laughed, before glaring at me."Balto's looking for you, mutt." Zenix told me. I rolled my eyes, and started to walk away with Zane, but Gene grabbed my arm. "Go to Balto, because if he hurts my brother, because you won't listen, you'll have to pay..." Gene said. I shook with fear, and nodded my head, before running off to find Balto. Zane rolled his eyes and walked off to his next class.

"Balto, what do you wa-" I walked into the gym to be kissed by Balto. I pushed him away. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!? I HAVE A BOYFRIEND YOU KNO-" I yelled at him with anger. "Alpha, that human is not your real boyfriend." He told me with a sly look on his face. "He's a cheater, and I hope you see that soon." I shook my head, not wanting to listen to him. "Whatever you say, Alpha..." I told him. He frowned, and I walked off to Werewolf Class, Balto walking with me.

I walked in and took my seat next to Balto and turned to my left to speak with Dottie. Before I knew it, the second bell rang and class started. "Okay, class. Today we will learn about the worst insults a human can throw at us, and how we should respond to them. Such as, if we are called a hairball, we slap them and rip out a few strands of their hair." Mr. Gavin spoke. I looked back towards Aphmau, and she smiled at me, before turning to the Omega, and telling him something. I heard her call him "Aaron"?
Most Werewolves ignored Mr. Gavin, continuously saying that we don't need to know exactly what to do, since we can always just punch them. I silently agreed against the humans. Then I felt something fluffy hit my head. 'Was it my tail? No, it's someone else's tail?' I questioned myself. I turned to my right and realized that it was Balto's tail, he turned to me and winked. "It's mating season you know, Alpha?" He whispered, moving his tail next to mine. I rolled my eyes and pushed his tail away from my tail. "Only for Juniors." I whispered back. He rolled his eyes, and we both looked out the window to see Dante and Nicole walking hand in hand through the hall. 'He was right?' I thought with sorrow. "I told you that you shouldn't date a human!" Balto whispered, telling me off. I turned away, refusing to believe it.
Why does everything go wrong with humans?

I know, it was bad. But, I needed the reader to end up hating all humans she doesn't know, or isn't good friends with. I started with making her not trust them. That's also why Gene is coming into the picture and making things worse. Anyway, thanks for reading this failed attempt at making a fanfiction.
Your grateful little werewolf,
-Isabelle
