C/F/N-Close Friend's Name(They will at one point date Travis, and they are also a werewolf)
S/N-Ship Name(for Travis and C/F/N)

"I can't believe it!" Dottie exclaimed during third period english as I excitedly told her about what happened with Balto the afternoon before. "You're the Female Alpha now!" I smiled, Zane rolling his eyes next to me. "Ugh. You humans have no idea how important this is!" Dottie directed her attention towards the not so enthusiastic, uninterested, Zane. "I mean really! We may miss out on chocolate and other things with 'la-lactosy'?" Zane put the palm of his hand against his forehead as to say, 'She really isn't the brightest person I know...' I rolled my eyes at him. "But, that doesn't make you guys better! I mean, we get to break windows, punch each other, and watch he best fights EVER! Oh! And we get to..." Dottie kept going on about what "humans" missed out on, until she finished with, "And werewolves always stick up for their pack, even if there's an omega..." That caught Zane's attention.
"Who says we don't stick up for..um..each other?!?" Zane debated against Dottie. "Well, sometimes humans do but...not as much as us werewolves do!" Dottie explained. He rolled his eyes, and mimicked Dottie silently. 'Wow. Zane really has something against werewolves!' I thought. He ignored Dottie's rant for the rest of the period. I almost fell asleep from boredom of Dottie's debate of how werewolves are better than humans myself. But I still listened, which Dottie pointed out to Zane as another factor for her debate. I laughed and he just looked at our ears in disgust. I changed to my human form, being a little embarrassed from trying to agree with both Dottie and Zane. Zane looked back at me after I changed forms and strictly said, "Thank You." Dottie looked hurt but the bell rang just in time. 'How much did wolf features change what people thought of us?' I thought gloomily. Humans. Werewolves. Are any of us better?.......No, maybe we're both just equal?

     At least the Meif'wa aren't involved...yet.

"Hey, N/N!" A sophomore with dark blue hair and eyes came running towards me in the hall. "Um...Hey...Dante?" I said, nagging my brain for what his name was. "Ya! Want to sit at my table at lunch?!?" Dante exclaimed happily. "Sure?" I said, not really wanting to go. It was fifth period and I was starving though, so I didn't complain that I didn't have to actually look for a seat before being able to eat my lunch.

"Guys, I brought N/N over!" Dante said as we stood in front of his lunch table. "Heyyy!" Travis said in a funny voice. Everyone cracked up of laughter, including me, trying to fit into their little group.
It had been Travis, Dante, the pink-haired Meif'wa, Katelyn, and.... C/F/N?!? I bolted next to her and she screamed, having not seen me since July. She gave me a huge hug, her werewolf features showing. When she noticed I was still in my human form, she changed into hers too,  a confused look on why I'd taken a "liking" to my human form, forming on her face.
"You know each other?" Travis asked silently, whispering to us. "Yeah, she's one of my best friends, why!?!" C/F/N answered, her H/C hair being blown by the wind. Travis blushed and came over to whisper something in my ear. "This is the girl I have a crush on..." For a moment a fangirled-shiping #S/N4life-but I quickly calmed down, not wanting to give his secret away....or loose such a rare friendship. (I ship travlyn and zanvis, so the Ship between your close friend and Travis won't last too long.)

For the rest of lunch, I ate and talked to everyone there, learning that the pink-haired girl's name was Kawaii~Chan, or KC for short. She was really into shipping people(not just in her favorite anime, but with us too...)and was one of the only Neko people I felt like I could actually converse casually with.
The whole time during lunch, all of them kept trying to make each other laugh, and smile. Suddenly, my worries all faded away from my mind, and I decided, that worry only holds you back from the things you dream of doing. 'Which is why I should try to be friends with Zane!' I thought, 'If I can just show him that we're all equal....and that no ones better....' I couldn't understand why I cared to show this human that, but I continued on with my plan to be good friends with him. I could tell that he needed the help... Maybe KC could be another step towards this goal...even though I don't exactly like Meif'wa.

"Can you save...Can you save my...Can you save my, Heavydirtysoul?!? For me...For m-" I sang along to the song playing on my phone, as I walked home with-not five people-but seven! It was Zane, Garroth, Laurance, Dante, C/F/N, Travis, O/S/N and I! Dante softly laughed, and said, "I guess you really like twenty-one Pilots!" I smiled, Zane rolling his eyes, the rest of us laughing along. C/F/N leaned on Travis a bit, making his cheeks flood pink. "She's a tear in my heart! I'm on fire! She's the tear in my heart! Take me higher!" I yelled, making everyone laugh even more.
Travis started to sing along, me putting subtitles for the lyrics while it played on Bloxtube(Minecraft version of Youtube), and eventually, everyone-except Zane-was cheerfully singing along to the cheerful melody. I gave Dante the phone for a second and fell back a little to where Zane was walking shortly behind us. He only looked away, ignoring me. I teased him a little by stating with laughter, "Just because you don't like us werewolves, doesn't mean that you should start being enemies with all of us!" He didn't think it was funny, so instead he stopped walking and took a stick out of his pocket.'Did he keep sticks in his pockets?' I thought. I had no clue Zane would even think of saying what he said next. "Then go fetch." He told me, as he threw it at Dante. Dante turned the phone off, making everyone stop singing, and turned around in confusion. He picked up the stick and looked at Zane. Since C/F/N and I weren't in our werewolf forms, we glared at the stick. 'He kept sticks in his pocket to get werewolves off of his back.' I realized. A single light tear fell from my eye. This was going to be harder than I thought....but what about our deal we made yesterday?!?
"Zane...That wasn't funny..." Garroth said, all the red from laughing was flushed out of his face. Zane looked hatefully at me, before pushing through Laurance and Garroth, and running off to his house. We all stared in shock.
C/F/N shrugged it off, not knowing the full story. After a minute, we all kept walking, Garroth and Laurance going separate ways, and the five of us left being silent as ever. "I'm going to go another way now..." Travis suddenly broke the silence. "It was fun being with you guys! Bye!" He seemed rushed as he ran across the street, into his small home. After a while, Dante also broke off, not saying a word to anyone but me, and even then, he rushed to say goodbye. The remaining of us entered my house, C/F/N planning to stay at our house for a few weeks since her family would be moving to Phoenix Drop soon and they didn't want her to come in the middle of the school year. We entered silently, my mom bon-boarding us with questions such as, "How did your first day as Alpha Female go?!?" or "Are Garroth and you still friends O/S/N? I hope you guys are, he's the nicest one of your friends that I've met!" We all answered glumly, eventually giving in and telling her what happened.  My mom tried to ignore the negative part of it and cheer us up-though she knew it wasn't doing anything to help....
It was weird how one small action could make such a difference for everyone.........was it my fault?

Hey guys, It's the author Izzy here! I wanted to show how the all groups of people in Phoenix Drop High-Meif'wa, Werewolves, Humans-were kind of discriminating-ahem, Dottie and Zane- and how it bothered the reader. This will be a big part of this story later on, since the reader already thinks of the other groups of weird...so when she can't trust many people from these groups, things may go wrong.
     Anyway, thanks for reading!
          -Your grateful little werewolf,
Isabelle
