Rape tw !!

It was a mess, panic, walkers, gunfire. The governor had blown up the prison and y/n happened to lose the rest of the group. She had been alone for months on end, seeing signs of sanctuary, the closer she got, the signs changed. 'No sanctuary' is what she read. She sighed and moved on down the tracks.
The only thing that kept her going was Daryl. Like, yes he could be dead, they all could but she couldn't risk that chance he was alive. Her putting a bullet in her head for him to run up on her body a few minutes, hours, days later.
She ran into horrible things and people. On the run, she ate when she could, if she could. Running from herds, to weak to fight and far outnumbered. The people, the people were the worst. She'd been beaten, raped and thrown to walkers. Fear was soon installed into her, it hadn't been like that forever. With the group, she was strong, unstoppable but now, she was broken and just being beaten down. God was testing her and she was pushing on, barely.

Daryl on the other hand, he was getting comfy in Alexandria with Rick and the others. He had been beaten, he made it through Terminus and to the safe zone, he was lucky. But now, without her, it just didn't feel right. It hurt every time he saw a couple, happy, like how they used to be. Waking up alone hurt knowing damn well she could be dead. Yeah, she was strong, but she was alone and it's been seven months. Maybe she lost hope and he wouldn't blame her.

Everyday, he'd sit on watch for maybe some hope or possibility she could come back. She never did. He told everyone to look out for her. A woman with long black hair, green eyes. That was as descriptive as he could get. Not knowing if she cut her hair or if it was still long, if she had grown more muscle or lost it all from not eating. It was all uncertain and he didn't like it.

"You ever think about it, settling down?" Abe asked Daryl one day.

He looked at the ground thinking of y/n.

"I mean, I didn't until I met y/n. You don't know her, but she restored faith in me. I never thought I'd see myself gettin married, havin kids and shit, but she like made that picture clear. Now she ain't here and I don't think I'll ever be the same" He spoke honestly.

"She'll come back, man" Rick commented "Aaron, he checks everyday for her, you know that"

"It ain't enough because she ain't here" He mumbled and shook his head as he left to his house.

y/n walked in an empty field, not a safe choice but he will to live was slim. She saw a horse in the distance and filled with excitement. That was transportation, or food. She walked slower, knees bent and feet softly hitting the ground. When she got close enough to touch it, a walker attacked her shoulder.

"Shit!" She cursed and pushed it off before putting a knife through it's skull, turning around and the horse was gone but something stood in its place.
A man in a blue windbreaker and curly hair.

"The fuck are you?" She asked, her voice hostile.

"A-are you alone?" He asked her.

She thought about her reply. She was and she was desperate.

"I see why you're nervous. But, I'm Aaron and I'm from a town named Alexandria, I go out scouting. I found a group a while back just like you, nervous but they came with me and we all live together. I've got photos and food" He elaborated.

She shrugged, what has she got to lose.

As the gates opened and she arrived, nervousness settled within her. Scared to see the place, if they'd kill her or what. She started to shake. He got out the car and she followed.

"You just have to meet with the people who run this place and they'll determine if you'd be a good fit" He explained as she followed him to a house, looking at the other civilians. This place was stuck in time, it was homey "If you are, we can set you up in a house, a nice hot shower and new clothes"
