"The Saviors are coming!" Fred yelled from a watch tower.
y/n's stomach dropped and filled with fear. Every time they came, they'd plan it in advance. When they did that, Gregory could tell Jesus to tell y/n of their upcoming arrival. She'd usually leave for a while or wait in a trailer with someone to stay with her in case something were to happen.
This, this visit was not like that, it was unexpected and unplanned. This didn't help since the Hillstop was sheltering two refugees. Maggie was dead to the Saviors and Daryl was a runaway, they'd kill him on sight. That also didn't help calm y/n's anxiety anymore.
She stood by one of the livestock stands, looking for Jesus but she couldn't find him. She started to fill up with nervousness as the gates opened and Simon strolled in. She was now looking for Jesus but didn't realize where she had fallen, in the path of Simon.
"Hey missy, lookin for someone?" He asked her with a smile and raised his brows.
"I-I just was, uh-" She tripped over her words, not knowing what to say. Real words weren't possible to form right now.
"Well, shit, I ain't got all day woman! Can you speak?" He spoke the last part slower and louder.
She looked around as all eyes were on her, her hands started to shake and knees going weak. Tears were filing her eyes, she was useless. Nothing felt real, just like a bad dream.
From afar, Jesus heard Simon yelling at y/n like that and left the main house to outside. He saw y/n amidst the crowd and ran to her. He grabbed her shoulders and she screamed, scared that was another Savior.
"Y/n, it's me, let's go" Jesus spoke lowly into her ear.
She just nodded.
"Woah, not so fast, where are you two going?" Simon asked.
"She's having an anxiety attack, we aren't any use to you. Gregory is inside if you need him" Jesus spoke protective over y/n and her mental state.
Tears were now flowing down her cheeks and heart was racing. Jesus rushed her to his trailer, he wanted her sitting but away from everyone. He sat her down on the sofa and kneeled in front of her. He grabbed her face and looked her in the eyes.
"Breathe, y/n, breathe. Do it with me" He spoke.
She nodded and followed his lead. Letting the thoughts leave her head and focusing on calming down. With each breath she came down.
"What about Daryl and Maggie?" She asked, her heart speeding up.
"Calm down, we can't do anything than what we are now. But, it'll be okay, I promise" Jesus told her.
"It'll be okay" She repeated "It'll be okay" She whispered over and over again.
