"Shawn slow down your gonna get us killed!" Jane said for like the tenth time. All I have in my head is my mom, I don't know where my dad is though I've been calling him but he doesn't answer his phone. A million thoughts are running in my head like why would someone kill my mom and why do I keep loosing the people I love first Tatiana and now my mom which I'm hoping she's still alive. Right now I feel numb I dont know where my dad is and I don't know if my mom is still alive but right now all I can hope is that she will be fine. I also feel like the universe is punishing me and I don't know why. I can't love anyone because they will end up dying my life is a complete failure I can't even find Tatiana's killer and now I have to find whoever shot my mom. What if the person who killed Tatiana is the same person who shot my mom. I really can't believe this is happening like where did I go wrong why does bad things keep happening to me. I finally arrived at my mom's house and there were police cars and an ambulence. Jane and I got out of the car and I completely frozed I couldn't move my legs the thought of my mom being dead is killing me I can not go through another funeral. I can't loose my mom I dont know what I would do if I loose her.

"Shawn you ok?" Jane ask

"no I dont even know what to do I can't even move what if she's dead what will I do I dont want to figure that out"

"come on breath you have to do this" she says and takes my hand as we were walking I saw my mom laying on the stretcher and I ran towards her

"mom im here dont worry I'm gonna find out who did this to you" I said sobbing

"I love you shawn" she said whispering. It looks like she got shot close to her heart God I hope she makes it

"I love you too mom" i said and they took her inside the ambulance.

"Shawn"

"chief whats going on"

"well the killer got away but he left evidence" the chief said holding a bag with the word evidence writen on it

"I recognized that"

"you do?"

"yeah that use to be Tatiana's locket, chief I really need to go to the hospital right now I can't think straight"

"yes of course but we have to talk about this"

"yes as soon as I see my mom I will work on that" I said and he nodded, now I'm really sure that  Tatiana's killer behind this and I wont rest until I find him what I don't understand is why, why did I do to him in fact I don't even know who he is why he keeps killing the people I love, why can't he just leave me and my family alone. we went to the hospital and got an update of my mom right now she's getting operated and they are not sure if she will survive.

"Shawn" Lucas said coming up to me with a worried face

"what's going on"

"its about your dad"

"what happened"

"we  found him in an alley.............. dead" he said and the word dead repeated in my head over and over again my life completely fell apart right now. I'm very shock and upset, worrds can't explain how I'm feeling right now all I have is my mom how am I suppose to tell my mom that my dad died what am I suppose to do now my head is all over the place and I just want to kill whoever is responsible for this .

"I know this is the stupidest question but are you ok do you need anything?" Jane asks

"actually yes can you go down to the station and find out what happened" I said and she nodded

"here" I said and gave her the gun

"be careful" I add and she left

"Lucas how did you found out about my dad and I didn't how come the people from the station didnt call me"

"cause I was with them I told you I'm gonna help you since you couldn't find your dad the chief put me on a test so I met up with a couple of police officers and found your dad now I'm your new partner"

"wait Jane is my partner"

"don't tell her this but the chief doesnt think she's caught out for this case"

"what but she's been very helpful"

"well do you know that Jane is the chief daughter"

"really? wait he does think that she's caught out for this case but I think that he's scared to loose her and I wont blame him but I really need the three of us Jane knows more about this case and your good at finding clues I really need the three of us. Now that my dad died I really want to find the killer as soon as possible"

"we will and we just have to convince the chief and Shawn I'm really sorry about your dad"

"thanks for everything" I patiently waited for the doctors to come and tell me a good news but all the doctors and nurse passes by me and doesnt tell me a word I hope my mom is ok I only have her in my life right now I can't loose her I need her I will always need my mom. who ever did this will pay
