I woke up with walls all white and boring as my attention was brought to an oddly familiar man and woman looking at me with worry, but then it struck me when they started talking.
"Oh, thank god you're okay, please don't ever do that again." Lindsey Way just talked to me.
"Um, not to be rude or anything but why are my idols standing right in front of me?" I asked them but they just looked at me confused.
"The nice lady who runs the orphanage told me that everyone knew that we were famous," Lindsey said putting quotation marks when she said famous. I'm still confused why am I here and what are they doing here? And why did they call that bitch nice? The lady who runs the orphanage is mean and abuses us, wait she acts nice with other okay got it. Well that solves one question but why are they here, were they the people looking to adopt? If they were then why are they here with me?
"Lainey, we want to adopt you. Would you be okay with that?" Gerard Way just talked to me as if he can read my mind. Can he read my mind or something? I was looking at Gerard when I thought that. But he seems concentrated on something right now. I'll explain when we get home, that is if you want us to adopt you. I heard a voice in my head say.
"Yes, you guys can adopt me," I told them with confidence. Hehe, that's a foreign word to me.
----------------------------------Time skip cause I'm lazy-------------------------------
When we got to their house- wait no when we got to our house after grabbing my stuff from the orphanage it was huge. There was a giant tree to the left side of the yard, my thinking tree that's gonna replace the one from the orphanage and to the right side of the yard there was a garden with flowers in a circle and a water fountain in the middle.
There was a patio right by the front door and it was made of this wood that was a color I've never seen it was pink and purple and blue all at once. But on that patio was a bench where it looks like people would just sit and talk while watching fireworks or thunderstorms late at night.
We pulled into the driveway and got out all my boxes and brought them up to the white wooden door. Gerard pulled out a shiny golden key and when I got inside I was amazed, there was a brown leather couch and loveseat to the left with a black coffee table in front of it, then this big flat screen tv and a tv stand and that tv stand had loads and loads of star wars, batman, superman and just marvel stuff in general on top of it. Of course going into Gerard's house there would be that. There was this light that hung over a table and there was the kitchen inside and past that table. To the left, there were stairs going up to the second story beneath the stairs were two other doors and there was a hallway to the right with five other doors. Gerard must have noticed me in awe because he chuckled.
"So I see you like it, would you like to see your room?" I nodded and I followed him up the stairs. As you walk up the stairs you see two doors to the left and three doors to the right. He lead me to the first door on the left and opened it. The room had a bed right when you opened the door, and a nightstand to the left of the bed and a wall to the right. On the left there are two doors which I'm guessing are the closest door and bathroom door. By the nightstand, there is a guitar and a door which leads to a balcony. And finally a desk up against the wall by the door.
"Well, I'll leave you to unpack," Gerard said before leaving the room. I unpacked my stuff and went downstairs to find Linsday asleep on the couch and Gerard in his office on his computer. I went inside and sat on the couch they had there. I was gonna ask him about what he meant at the hospital, but I thought instead.
