Isaias
I saw one of my securities as I went further the block. I walked closer to him, but came to a halt when I heard Angel's voice.
"Logan!" the excitement was apparent in her voice, and my heart suddenly stopped beating upon hearing her sweet, warm voice I missed so much. I felt like the air was knocked out of me, I felt breathless. There was a fluttering feeling in my belly, like a swarm of hornets has been displaced in my stomach.
I quickly strode towards the direction of her voice, and my breathings became rapid. The anticipation of seeing her growing within me, eating me wholly. I breathed out an air of excitement, releasing some tension along with it to calm my tensing body. My tensed muscles relaxed a bit.
And when I found her, she was hugging Logan.
That anticipation dissipated, and anger rolled over my excitement.
Vaffanculo!
My jaws clamped tightly together I could feel my nerves almost snapping with my lips pressed into a tight line. My shoulders hard and strained, my legs firm on the ground.
The tension in my body doubled but this time, it was not good, my hands balled into fists at my sides. Blinding rage slowly clouding my whole being, and I forced a tight rein of my red-hot wrath when I thought of my Angel's presence.
I don't want her to think I am a killer.
Well, I am. A cold bloody killer.
That thought was like a cold water splashed onto me.
Well, she already knows who I was, but I want to erase that thought from her mind. I want her to know that I—
"Fuck it!" I growled mentally.
I stood rigidly watching them, gazing at Logan with repressed outrage. He met my murderous gaze, and he rapidly blinked then froze in his spot. His flushed cheeks had turned pallid.
I could tell from where I am; he was as stiff as a statue.
Angel released him and apologized. Logan never left my eyes as I pinned him with my lethal gaze and at that moment, I want nothing but end his life.
Nobody can get away from touching what's mine.
My nails dug into my palms as my hands clenched tighter, eyes narrowing at him darkly, sharp that could slice through him.
I felt him squirmed under my cold and ominous gaze. I can literally feel him shaking inside.
I caught Angel from the corner of my eyes, turned with blazing curiosity though her face filled with excitement.
"Isaias, honey!" Angel's squealed when she saw me, causing me to snap my head to her and gaze at her with overwhelming adoration.
Everything seemed to disperse around us. Instantaneously, I forgot about Logan. My temper simmered down simultaneously.
Pale, glossy purple eyes met mine, and my face that was like a lamp in the dark, in an instant, it lit up upon seeing her. The tension in my body released, the weight in my chest magically disappeared, and I relaxed.
As our eyes locked, that storm in my head, darkness surrounding me a few seconds ago upon seeing Logan and her, gone and brightened. I was like the dark sky, threatening a dangerous storm into the world, and then there she was, my sun, breaking the cloud, bringing light to the world, and to me.
Only her presence could turn my dark mood into light-hearted. Only her could switch off my murderous temper.
Something that only my Piccola had the power to control. She can relax my restless mind and body without even doing anything, without trying.
