The five of us reappeared in the eye of the storm. Supernatural phenomenons were occurring around us and time was messed up. Mythical creatures flew around the circle and everything was a catastrophe. Everywhere I looked there was shouting and cursing. The souls were all out of energy and dependent on their stones that were glowing brightly above the storm, but they weren't circling around clockwise properly. It was still missing my stone.

"Jongin," I heard East's voice call out, "come here, we're going to try to make the stone come out of you."

I went over and stood in the middle of the four guardians. East was standing on the East and West on the west. They all stood in the position of their name and clasped hands. The four guardians started mumbling words that I couldn't understand. I looked around and the symbols above us started swirling together and created a circling of light with a spiral inside. Outside of the circle, there was a triangle. The pattern started to look like my tattoo symbol. I stared at the beautiful blue light when suddenly a sharp pain hit me in my chest.

I fell backwards and above me I could see my tattoo projecting from my chest. Everything around me was still. The fighting had began to slow down. Essem's guard started becoming dust and skeletons. Everything was disintegrating. Slowly the land started to go back to how it was before and nothing was damaged. The souls were standing and staring at me. Everything was going so slowly, then a hard sharp pain hit me again.

The guardians had all charged towards Essem.

"The stone is in his jacket pocket." East said grabbing his arms and pulling them behind him.

West stuck his hand into the pocket and pulled out a perfectly round stone. He gave it to North and North started running towards me.

He came to an abrupt halt in front of me and smiled.

"I hope you lived your centuries with love, because I don't know if this will kill you." North said. I looked up and tears were forming in his eyes.

I looked to my right and saw South carrying Kyungsoo over in his arms.

"Any last words?" South asked.

Kyungsoo was bawling and shaking his head.

"don't go, no, you can't, stay please jongin ah~" Kyungsoo said sniffing in after each word taking a breath between his sobs.

East appeared and hugged me tightly, "we'll be coming with you," he said.

"We've already said our goodbyes." North added.

West smiled as tears rolled down his cheeks and onto the floor.

I managed to sit up and Kyungsoo hugged me tightly.

"no please no" Kyungsoo sobbed and shook his head on my shoulder. "you said you'd be with me forever."

I could feel the warm liquids forming in my eyes. I threw my hands around Kyungsoo's narrow shoulders and started sobbing.

"Please let me always be in your heart." I said with short breaths.

"There will be a hole in my heart if you aren't here." Kyungsoo squeezed my back and buried his head in my shoulder.

"I wish I could stay." I took the stone from North and threw it to the center of the spiraling lights and a large boom went across the atmosphere.

"Don't ever forget me." I said and closed my eyes.

---

The four guardians held hands and vanished when the large explosion of light appeared. Essem vanished as well and 12 stones fell from the sky and landed in a hexagonal shape with the letters "E" "X" and "O".

Kyungsoo fell back onto the empty grass and picked the stones up. Tears fell rapidly down his cheeks and the other 10 souls came running into the center. All of them were crying while trying to comfort the fragile hearted Kyungsoo.

They started walking out of the battle field and went to North park. Sehun stopped in front of the gates and was about to shout for North when he remembered there was no way to get to the hide-outs without the help of the guardians, but he tried anyway, "North." Sehun spoke to the gates starting to cry.

"It's no use," Luhan whispered, "they're gone."

"Come on, let's go to the dorms." Joonmyun said patting Kyungsoo's back. They all turned away but Kyungsoo faced the gates.

"Please. Let us see the guardians." Kyungsoo started, "I'm D.O. of the souls." He threw his stone into the gate and an electric shock rebounded it back.

All of the souls turned back to see the shock. They turned and faced Jongdae. "Was that you?" Yixing asked Jongdae.

"No." Jongdae answered. He walked up to the gate and threw his stone in and spoke, "I'm Chen of the souls." A gust of wind gushed out towards them. Sehun followed and threw his stone in. One after another they threw their own stones at the gate. When they all finished, Jongin's stone went into the gates.

The rest of the stones started to float and go into the gate. A blue rim of light started to form in the gate and it got larger and larger and eventually shaped the outline of the gate.

Kyungsoo stepped in without a second though. The rest of them followed and they appeared in a royal palace.

"You found it." North said.

"The gate that was invaded by Essem has a hole." West said.

"It's strange how things match up isn't it?" South said, chuckling.

"Welcome to EXO." East bowed.

The four guardians were each wearing a silver suit.

"Where's Jongin?" Kyungsoo spoke sternly.

"Well. There isn't a Jongin in the palace." East said disappearing into thin air.

"But there is someone with the same identity." West said walking away.

"Just think harder and you'll understand." North said turning away.

"Let me give you a hint. Please state your destination." South smiled, "sounds familiar?" and disappeared.

"Kai!" Kyungsoo shouted.

A blue light shined through all of the windows and reflected off the silver.

In front of Kyungsoo was Jongin, dressed in all silver smiling.

"I see you really do know me."

THE END.
