•CHAPTER TWELVE•

-Haley's POV-

I picked flowers off a beautiful tree.

Lucas soon came up behind me.

"No parents today huh?" I asked him.

"No, actually my mom is actually at a resort in Nevada. We were gonna wait, but you know" he laughed.

"Its gonna be a great day." I smiled. The chairs were already set up at the beach. I sprinkled the flowers along the walk way.

Lucas' phone went off.

"Or not. Oh my god." He sat down and put his hand on his head.

"What happened?!" I asked worried.

"Peyton said the minister just fell through, some sort of mix up." He sighed.

"Oh no.. WAIT. Dont freak out, my sister Quinn got married by a friend of hers who got ordained on the internet in like 30 seconds."

"Is that even legal?" Lucas questioned me.

"Yeah! Anyone who's ordained can sign a marriage license,the ceremony is just symbolic." I said with a smile.

"Huh." He thought.

"How cool!! Dont you think it would be so awesome to get married by a friend of yours?! Somebody you've known for most of your life?"

"I do.." He continued to play on his phone.

"Sweet! Who should we get?" I said excitedly.

"You."

"Yea- me?" I said shocked.

"Oh c'mon you're my best friend and Peyton loves you and.. I just ordained you."

"HUH?!" I gasped.

"So uh.. God you're gonna be great. You know that?" Lucas got up.

I stood there still shocked.

"I gotta go, but um thank you minister."

He walked off.

"Minister.." I said to myself.

--Brooke's POV--

I looked at myself in the mirror with my dress on.

Peyton soon walked up behind me.

"Okay.. What do out think?"

I turned around.

"I think you and your little sidekick look beautiful." I smiled.

"Come here." I smiled back.

"Do you wanna sit down?" I asked.

"Oh no I'm good for the 50th time."

"Well you're supposed to be on bed rest not getting married." I laughed.

"The doctor said that its fine."

"But the doctor also said to not over do it so, DO NOT over do it. As much as i love a wedding, i love you and your baby more."

The moment suddenly went from happy.. To dull.

"Umm. If anything happens to me i want you to take care of Lucas.." Peyton sighed.

"If when the baby comes if anything happens okay..?" She whispered.

"Nothing's gonna happen!" I said in a sad tone.

"Brooke.."

"You shouldn't talk like that Peyton."

"But Brooke we have to talk like this." She took a deep breath.
