"Hi! Welcome to Parlo Lake, where you choose your own end. Now you have made thi-" The lady on the screen says before Miss Tiffany takes my hand leading me away from the screen. We walk with a group to the front counter. In our group there is Ann. Ann is 72! I never knew people lived so old! Ann has something that makes her body stop moving one body part at a time until she won't be able to move at all! I told Ann it was okay and that she could get a hug from me any day, I was free all week if she needed it. Tiffany and I walk up to the counter where a lady with blue eyes and green hair says,

"Hi, welcome to Parlo Lake. How may I help you? Ohh who's this little one right here?" She says looking down at me. I look up at her frowning. Little one? While making my face I see her name thingy, it says Becky.

"Well Becky, this little one is Ari Brown and I have here to find someone." I say folding my arms looking to her as Miss Tiffany does the same.

"Oh..well Ari, who is it that you're looking for? Are they dead or alive?" Those words rung like bells going off in my head and ears. I had never thought, before then that mommy had even ended or not. That if she was dead or alive..what if she was dead. What was I going to do?

"She's looking for her mother. Lilac Frost-Brown?" Miss Tiffany finally says for me because I cannot speak a word. My mommy dead..that was not a thought I had wanted to ever think, nor imagine. Becky gets up and rustles through files until saying,

"AHA! Here it is ma'am. I hope this is all that you are looking for Ari. Good luck!" Becky says with a warm smile handing me the folder as I take it.

"Thank youuuu!" I say with a huge smile on my face then running over to a group of chairs in the lobby and flop. Miss Tiffany sits down next to me opening up the file with me. I watch Miss Tiffany flip page after page then back again wondering what was so interesting. She made a face with each word she read. And as I watched her I imagined maybe the crazy scientist named, Cancer came after mommy here and she had to hide out in order to stay safe! Or maybe Cancer is trying to take over the world and mommy trapped him here and now she has to stay here forever in order to keep the world at peace. This duty may be in life and death. I look out the window and dream and dream and dream then stop. What was that? I jump up and run to the glass window and stare. There is a lady with black hair. She has one single strip of pink in her hair..my mommy had pink hair. I realize she's walking into the bus, then the bus doors close! I've gotta go see her! I've got to see if she's my mommy! I run to the doors and rush in between many legs and suitcases and walk through the spinny door. Pushing a bit I finally get out and run for the the bus but it's pulling off! I run faster and faster closing my eyes and pushing! Pushing everything and any one out the way as the tears stream from my face as I fall in the middle of the road. The tears pour from my eyes as I watch the blue bus drive away with the black haired lady with a single pink strip drives away. I don't know if it was my mommy but it could have been. All of a sudden I feel this sharp pain hit my arm. I look down at my arm, blood is dripping from my hand and start to feel dizzy. As I look up to the sky the Mr.Sun is shinning so bright but then he starts swirling. Just like everybody else swirling until there is nothing. Black. Just nothing.

"Ari? Ari baby are you okay?" I hear as I slowly open my eyes. There are people here. I know there is mama because she always speaks to me that way but she's so so blurry. Everything's blurry. The harder I try to focus the more swirly things begin to be. Next thing you know, black comes again.

When I open my eyes again I'm in that field. That field where mama took me. Butterflies flying..even speaking to! Saying,
