"Mom, what is going on? Why are you here in Alvarez?" I asked after running down the stairs, standing beside Jellal. She looked down towards the floor. "I guess I'll have to explain everything."

"She's your daughter Miss Eileen?" said Juliet while the other gasped. "And that dude is calling you master?"

"Yes, both of you heard right. She's my daughter while he was my student and still is. You two may leave us alone now."

"But we have orders to..." Mom gave a sharp glare at those two, "Didn't you hear what I just said. That's an order." They stood stunned for a while before waiting outside of the theater. "Wait outside until I have given my next orders."

"Yes mam."

The whole situation was awkward and everyone was silent. Then Jellal sighed sitting on the ground, crossing his knee and started the conversation. "Are you one of the 12 Spriggans?" Mom just kept silent till Jellal raised his voice a little, "Answer me master...are you one of them?"

"Yes. You see the girl that you were fighting just now, she's one of us. I was given orders to retrieve her back after hearing what Brandish reported."

Mom paused for a while before explaining the whole situation to us. "Well, the truth is I receive an invitation from someone in Alvarez, requesting for my presence at the meeting. At first I didn't wanted to go, but due to our situation I decided to go for it. So, I went and that was my first time I met the person who offered me the place to work in his palace and the pay is quite high too. It was a golden opportunity, I thought this is the only way for me to keep everything alright including to support your life with Wendy. He listed some terms and conditions before letting me to sign over the agreement. I agreed to his terms and worked from him ever since. I know you might be mad at me for leaving you and Wendy alone at home."

"No...I'm not mad at all, its just that you never even spend some time with us especially during the special holidays or occasions. You could have just called us."

She gave a saddened look, "I could even if I wanted to, but I'll have to obey the rules and that is to keep your distance from your family." I gasped feeling my heart cringed. "What?"

"It was my mistake of bumping into you the other day. I wasn't suppose to keep in touch or contact with any of you. I'm sorry Erza, this is the only way I could protect the both of you. I'm sorry too Jellal, I abandoned you while you needed me the most. You have been following me for almost two years until the day came where I left you all alone in the city. I won't get mad if you two are angry with me. It was my own choice for doing so."

Jellal wanted to say something but I cut him off by asking another question. "Then can you tell me about dad? What actually happened few years ago?"

Mom's eyes shot wide and immediately her face changed to anger slightly. "Don't ever mention about him. This is only between me and him only. You don't have to know."

"Mom please I..."

"Didn't you hear what I said?" She suddenly raised her voice and was about to raise her hand towards me. Jellal quickly stopped by grabbing her hand. "Calm down master, I know this is a sensitive issue but please try to understand the situation." She took a few deep breaths calming herself down. "I should be going, you two should leave Alvarez immediately or else things could go worse. I'll be taking my leave with this lady here." She dragged out Dimaria who attacked us earlier and kept her sealed in a magic dimension that mom just casted.

I felt she was hiding something from us. "Mom wait! At least tell me who hired you?" She turned back, "Zeref." Both of us were shocked hearing the name that my mom mentioned. She just turned around walking away along with the rest who were waiting outside the theater.

"Zeref...I thought she hated him in the first place. Why would she..." Jellal stuttered and his body trembles. "Jellal?" I suddenly sense something was going on with Jellal. He started laughing for no reason and a dark aura emerged from within. "Jellal...are you okay?" He pinned me over to the floor all of the sudden, gripping my neck tightly. "Jellal! Grgh...ah!" I struggled trying to pulled away from his grip. "Jellal snap out of it! This isn't like you!" I couldn't breathe any longer. "Jellal!" Then he stopped as his eyes were back to normal. He weird aura died off after that. He panted heavily and loosen his grip on me. I turned my body to the other side trying to breathe.

"I'm sorry..." He said over and over again while embracing me after helping me up. "Hey its alright, take it easy Jellal." I was trying to calm him down as Mavis quickly spoke up. "We'll need to go."

"Okay." I said while tapping Jellal gently to make a move. "Hold on, we need to drop by the hospital first. This could help saving Gray." I saw he was holding a small bottle. "Is that the antidote?" He shook his head and explained, "No, Dimaria managed to get Gray's soul while attacking him. She was the one who kidnapped Juvia in the first place, manipulating her memories. I somehow managed to bring her back using my powers. Natsu is with her now back at the hotel. I suggest you and Mavis return first to the hotel, I'll come back after saving Gray." I wanted to say no but after thinking of everything just happened and even the words he mentioned to me earlier.

I can't be worrying about you, Erza...

He's right about it. I can't let him be worried of me every single time. "Alright, I'll be waiting for you so please return safely."

He nodded and left the theater with his vampire powers. "Are you feeling okay Erza?" asked Mavis as I nodded, "I'll be fine, its just that I'm feeling that my mom is hiding something from me. Why wouldn't she tell me about my dad? Why would she be angry whenever I mentioned about him? I just wanted to know more about him...his whereabouts? His past life? Everything...I hardly could remember his face and even the time that happened in the village."

Out of the blue, I felt my body getting heated up. I could feel an intense pain coursing through my body, my heart was beating fast. "Aaahhh..."

"Erza? What's wrong?" I dropped to the floor feeling my body getting warmer than before. What is happening to me? I grunted in pain feeling my heart being stabbed by million pieces of knives. "Erza, hang on! I'll go get help!" said Mavis as she ran off getting help.

I clutched onto my chest enduring the pain. "No it can't be...argh..." Then I caught glimpse of a few people but I couldn't tell who it was.

"Je...llal..."

I soon dozed off.
