Chapter three:Magnus

We walked to Our respective cars and drove the 10 minute drive from the store to the institute. When we got there,it seemed quiet inside. But I was wrong.

When I walked inside,i put down my stuff and began to walk to my room. When I passed jace's room,I was suddenly grabbed by the wrist and yanked inside.I shrieked. I swiftly punched my captor in the nose,hearing a grunt of pain. I knew that voice/sound anywhere.

"Jace?" I asked curiously.

"Jeez baby,if you didn't like me, you should have just told me!" I laughed lightly at that one.

"What do you want Jace?" I asked, knowing he was up to something.

"What, I have to be up to something to say hello to my beautiful girlfriend and my unborn child?" He asked,pretending to be offended. "Why Clarissa,you know me better than that."

Suddenly I grabbed him by the shirt and slammed him into the wall. "If you ever call me Clarissa again," I practically growled, "it will be the last time you ever see this green Earth again." Apparently I had scared him, because his face had gone white, his eyes were wide, and his hands were sweaty. He looked petrified. "Sorry" I apologized. "hormones" I laughed nervously.

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me in,kissing me passionately yet gently. My knees went week and I melted into his arms. This was even better a kiss than the first we had shared in the greenhouse on my birthday. "It's okay" he said, pulling back,and laughing at the pout that had formed on my face.

"so how did you tell Alec ?" I asked.

"Actually I didn't tell him yet. I didn't get around to it.plus, I wanted to tell him with the love of my life at my side." Those last words made me tear up a little. Stupid hormones. I wiped them off of my face and smiled up at him, looking into those gorgeous gold eyes,thinking about how lucky I am to have him,and his child on the way.

After I finished with Jace, I walked to my room to get ready for the trip with Izzy and Magnus. I stalked to my closet and pulled out a purple blouse, black miniskirt, and thigh-high boots, then put my hair up in a simple ponytail. Isabelle would be so proud.

I walked to Jace's room and told him I was leaving, then got in my car and drove to the mall, where Isabelle and Magnus were,of course, already waiting for me. As soon as they saw me, izzy skipped over to me, Magnus following her. When he reached me he pulled me into a hug.

"Clary,my dear.it's been a while, hasn't it?"

"It sure has Magnus. How have you been?" I asked.

"Ah, I've been pretty well. You?"

"Great. Never been better" I said with a smile on my face.

"Now what makes you all excited lately,my dear?" He asked,quirking an eyebrow. Damn, I STILL can't do that.

"Oh nothing" I said suspiciously

"Oh go on clary,tell him. He's one of your best friends plus I wanna see his reaction." Isabelle said. I nodded and turned to Magnus.

"I'm pregnant" I said sheepishly. The next thing I knew, Magnus had engulfed me in a hug.

"clary I'm so happy for you. Congratulations!" He said, excitedly.

I smiled. "Thanks Magnus"

He returned the smile and said "no problem my darling. Now let's go inside. It's getting cold out here." And with that,we all walked into the mall.
