What REALLY happened at Luke's house (sorry it took so long)

Clary and jace arrive at Luke and Jocelyn's place soon. They had just recently gotten married and lived together now.

They got out of the car and walked up to the house. Clary reached up to knock on the hard wood door, but Jace grabbed her wrist gently in an attempt to stop her.

"Are you sure you want to do this now?" He asked hesitantly. Clary nodded and said that they had to do it sooner or later so she wanted to get it over with now. He released his grip on her wrist and his arm fell to his side. Clary knocked on the door. Some shuffling and muffled speech could be heard from within. After a minute of silence, the door was opened by Luke, who immediately engulfed clary in a tight embrace.

"Clary!" He exclaimed. "I haven't seen you since Idris! How's life?" He asked with a smile on his face. Clary returned the smile but remained silent.

Luke opened his mouth as if to say something, but was silenced when Jace said "clary and I have something we'd like to discuss with you. Is Jocelyn home?"

"Yes. She's in the back art room working on a painting. Come in" Luke said, steeping aside to let the two inside. They walked inside and straight to the living room and sat down, clary leaning on Jace "I'll go get Jocelyn" Luke said, and walked away.

He came back with clary's mother a few moments later, who immediately swept clary into a hug like Luke. She finally released clary and said "so, what did you need to talk with us about?" You do anything

Clary took a deep breath and said "mom,Luke. When I say this, remember that it wasn't Jace's fault. I was involved in it too." Clary looked at them, where they both had confused looks on their faces. She took a deep breath and said, "I'm pregnant".

Everyone stood there in silence for a few minutes, and clary saw Luke go rigid, before saying "I'm gonna kill him".

Jace went wide eyed but stayed still, as if it would help his case. Luke's eyes started to change and his fingernails grew into long claws. Luke changed into his wolf form and started creeping towards Jace, snarling at him. Just as he was about to attack, clary and Jocelyn jumped in his way.

"Luke" clary said. "Remember what I said. It wasn't Jace's fault. It takes two to tango, ya know."

Luke shot them a look that said 'get out of my way'. But Jocelyn and clary stood their ground. Soon after, Luke finally calmed down and morphed back into his original human form.

Clary looks down at the ground and says "please don't be mad at me".

Luke says nothing, just walks over and engulfs clary into a hug and whispers in her ear, "I could never be mad at you". He releases clary and walks over to Jace.

"I'm telling you, if you do anything to hurt her or that baby, not even the angels will be able to save you from what I'll do." Jace's eyes go quite wide and he gulps.

"Well", jace says. "If that's all, we better be going. Gotta go tell the others."

Before she can respond, Jace grabs clary's hand and practically drags her out the door.
