Apparently, the entire population of Korea needed help with tech-related stuff at ten in the morning.
Customers came flocking to the Electronics section in large numbers. By half past ten, Yugyom was swamped with people and Younghyun was nowhere to be seen.
That's ok, though. He had forgotten about Younghyun because he was too busy freaking the fuck out.
"Pardon me, do you sell Dell laptop chargers?"
"What's the difference between the blue and black Canon cameras?"
"Do you carry iPod nanos?"
The questions just kept coming and coming. There was a freaking baby crying somewhere. Some kids were running up and down, coming a bit too close to knocking over the displays. A woman was holding a laptop upside down and Yugyeom couldn't figure out why the fuck she would even do that.
Sweet and holy Lord, Yugyeom never wanted to disappear so badly in his life.
But then, just when he was about to give up and hide behind one of the display stands, Jesus came to save him.
Ok, not Jesus, but Jaebum was there. Their names started with the same letter, so same thing.
"What the hell is going on?!" Jaebum asked, looking at Yugyeom with a frown. "Is Younghyun not here yet?"
Yugyeom just shook his head, looking like he was about to break down. The elder just let out an exasperated sigh.
Half an hour later, after getting a lot of help from Jaebum, Yugyeom finally said goodbye to the last customer from the crowd and the Electronics section was now empty.
Yugyeom took a seat behind the section desk. He was already tired and it wasn't even time for his lunch break yet.
"Listen," Jaebum said from the other side of the counter, "next time, have them line up in an orderly fashion, ok? This is a store, not a zoo."
He just nodded, looking defeated.
Jaebum felt bad for him.
"Hey, me and the others usually go out bowling on Fridays after work," he said, looking at the taller male. "You could come today. It might help you relax."
Not even having to think about it, Yugyeom agreed. This boy was always a hoe for bowling.
Jaebum left after that, and not even seconds later, Younghyun waltzed in.
"Oh, good, no customers," he said happily, sparing a slight nod at Yugyeom.
Oh, if only he knew the hell this boy just went through.
