Rose's POV

I kept my cool as Jack talked to me. How I managed to do that, I have no idea. I'm anxious as I want to scream, but I cant because I know he still has his eyes on me. I read the note he left on the table. My face became red like a tomato, and Lacey grabbed it from me.

Her jaw dropped. "Are we being punked? What is going on?! We haven't even been here for twenty four hours! Are you going to go?"

As much as I know I shouldn't, I said yes. I still don't know what I'm going to do about Sunday, but at this point I didn't care. I have to take this opportunity. We ate our meals and left.

All this is blowing my mind. Out of all people, me? I feel like the luckiest girl on the planet.

I took a shower, and did my hair again. I put on light blue skinny jeans, a small white top, and some flip flops. There was still some time before it was time to meet Jack. I'm more nervous than ever.

Jack's POV

Carter and Jack are the only ones who know about tonight, since I'm sharing a room with them. I was nervous and I guess it was showing.

"Bro, chill. This isn't the first time you've talked to a girl. I've known you my whole life, even in kindergarten you were a ladies man. You could bring her home without a problem." Jack Johnson was trying to make me feel better.

It was almost midnight, so I headed down stairs, and out to the pool. I sat there and waited. I started to think she wasn't going to show, until I saw the doors open.

Rose's POV

It was time. I looked out my hotel window, and saw him sitting on the edge of a chair.

"Go get him, Rosey. You look hot, you'll be fine." Lacey made me laugh.

I walked out the doors and saw him quickly approach me. "Hey green eyes."

Green eyes? I thought to myself. I couldn't decide if it was rude, or cute in a weird way. I wanted to seem different, and I wanted to be hard to get. Most of all, I didn't want to be seen as just another fan.

"I have a name, you know." I replied. "It's Rose."

"Well I'm sorry about that Rose. That's a nice name. What brings you to this random hotel?" He asked.

I had no idea how to respond. I couldn't tell him I was here for magcon. "My friend and I just needed a get away."

We talked for a while, and I started to get more comfortable. I was finally calmed down. Talking to him was so nice. His smile was his best feature, I was in love with it.

We were sitting on the edge of the pool with our feet hanging in. He suddenly got up. I wasn't sure what he was doing until he took off his shirt. We looked at eachother for a minute.

"You gonna join me or what?" He jumped into the cold water.

"You're crazy. We aren't even allowed to be out here, we'll get caught and get in trouble."

"Who cares, live a little!"

I shook my head. There was a part of me that wanted to join him, but another part that didn't.

I saw him coming towards me. I screamed as he gently pulled me into the water. I screamed some more.

"You're an idiot, what're you doing?! We'll be in so much trouble if we get caught!"

"That's fine with me, I think it's worth the risk."

I lost track of time after a while. I found his arms around me. Neither of us were saying a word, but we didn't need to. The silence was perfect, and the moment was too.

We had no idea what time it was when security came out to yell at us. We quickly ran opposite ways.
