*The Placeholder*
A Hangul syllable block MUST begin with a consonat. So how do we write a block that starts with a vowel? There's this special silent placeholder letter that you can just ignore if it's the first letter.
ㅇ - Placeholder
Example:* Annyeong ( Hi )
안녕
*I know guys na alam niyo to sa first book na ginawa ko but we will look more sa mga uses ng letter na to, okay ?*
I will separate them by their blocks. So look,
AN / NYEONG
안 / 녕
It's just pretty easy right? so the first block is starting with the letter "ㅇ" which sounds silent.
This same letter actually has a real sound if it's not the first letter of a block.
ㅇ - ng
Kapag nasa first ang letter na to, it will sounds SILENT. But when it is putted in the last part of a block, it will sounds "NG". *This letter is not capable in the middle-part because hindi ito vowel*Here guys, I want you to familiarize the words with includes the letter "ㅇ".
Examples:
1. an / nyeong / ha / se / yo [ Hello ]
안 - 녕 - 하 - 세 - 요
2. mi / an / hae [ Sorry ]
미 - 안 - 해
3. jeong / mal [ Really ]
정 - 말
4. o / ppa [ For girls who calls their elder brother or an endearment with their boyfriend ]
오 - 빠
5. saeng / gak / hae [ Thinking ]
