Scenario:
Just as I was about to end the Wizarding Wars against Voldemort Jr, I fell down a large portal. I let out a high pitched scream as I tumbled downwards, looking up at Voldemort Jr. as he killed all my friends. "Nooooo!" I sobbed as I travelled down into the dark abyss...until I felt sheets. I snapped my eyes open as I looked around my perfectly normal room. Whew! That whole adventure I just had was just a dream!!!1!
Everything Wrong With This:
Guys, using "this whole thing was a dream" tactic is a lazy, unoriginal, and quick way to end a book, that no one is a fan of. If you want to put people off your book, and/or have an angry mob of fans blowing up your Mailbox, then be my guest and use this cliché.
