Jessica's POV

Office work never changes. Could someone at least try to lighten up the mood here? Tiffany, that woman took a day off, so I could call her, but maybe I shouldn't, since she starts to think that I'm getting weird everyday.

"Hey, sissy!"

Speaking of the damn devil...

"Seriously, don't you have anywhere to go aside from here?"

"Why, is it wrong to visit my lil sis who's working her ass off ever since someone special came into her life and melted her heart? C'mon, spill the beans! Who's the lucky girl?"

"First, are you here to annoy me? Second, what make you think that I've got a special someone. And lastly, what makes you think I ain't straight?"

"Oh come on! Even dad thinks you aren't straight! If you are, do you think you were able to reject Siwon oppa? Every girl goes crazy when they see him, but you don't even feel a thing, so what made you think you're straight?"

"Shut up for once! Thanks to you, I'm having overtime! What makes you think that I'll be able to finish these reports in a flash?!"

"We have what we call an "assistant." "Call Taeyeon."

"Yeah, an assistant who'll just eventually flirt with you!"

"Fine, I'll help you with this!"

"You better!"

Thanks to Tiff, I finished all these paper works in just a nick of time, so somehow I'm thankful that she came.

"I'm heading home, wanna come?"

"Umm, sure."

"Aren't you seeing someone tonight?"

Speaking of someone, should I visit Sooyoung? She said that she'll wait, but she also mentioned that the forest is dangerous at night. Should I go or not? Wait, I'm supposed to prove her that I won't be coming back! So I will not! Aish, this is killing me!

"Nope, I've got no plans for tonight."

"Then get in."

What makes me think I will be able to carry this on forever?! I will come back, but not tonight. Maybe after two days? I don't know, but I will come back.

"You've been spacing out a lot lately, what's wrong?"

"None of your business."

I can't afford to let Tiffany know about this.

"For once, forget about your cold attitude and open up. I'm your sister, and I'm starting to get worried. For sure, no one will take your problems seriously except me."

"I promise, that whatever you say, will not be used or taken against you, so just tell me."

Maybe giving a little detail wouldn't hurt

"Fine. It's about a woman I met yesterday at a certain place. I won't tell you exactly where. After the long hours of chitchat, I decided to go, since it's getting a little late. She asked me if I'm going to see her again, and I said I probably wouldn't be. And she keeps telling me that she'll wait for me anytime, so I've been wondering if I should see her or not."

"There you go again. You and your stupid pride. If you want to go back, why not? If you want to see her, why not? Do you honestly think that you could do this until the end? I don't even think so, unless if you really disliked her, but if you did, you wouldn't think this deep."

"But I told her I would prove it."

"You are really a woman full of pride, but all I could say is, you put up a front because you're afraid to show her that you're slowly falling for her. You're afraid of falling in love, but Jessica, you won't be able to put up this front forever, so if I were you, try to give it up."

"Like what you did? Now look what Nickhun did to you! He left you like some piece of sh*t!"

"Then at least show your face to her! You know that she'll be waiting, and I'm sure it's not nice to make someone wait too long."

"I will come back, but maybe in a few days."

"Whatever you say, but don't make her wait too long. Opportunities aren't yours forever."

"It's been awhile since you talked with some sense."

"I told you, I'm always here to listen and help you."

"Thanks. And by the way, I hope you and Taeyeon end up together. Your chemistry is undeniable."
