Waiting

Jessica's POV

Finally, we are going home right now! After Tiffany's successful confession, We had to go home, because she told Yuri and the others that she finally had a girlfriend, so they were going to throw a party, and I was forced to attend, again. Of course I expected a couple of horny as f*ck teenagers who are flirting in front of me. You know who. 

"Um, excuse me lovebirds, but I think I should be the one to drive. Both of you stay at the back."

"Why?"

"Because I don't want to die today Tiff! Taeyeon is not paying attention to the road because of you, so we need to swap. Now!"

So both of them went to the backseat, and I was left alone in the front. Since I knew this was coming, I brought my headphones along. Really a great help, since those teenagers have already started to make out in the back. As I was listening to a certain song, it made me remember Sooyoung.

Have I been living my life the way I wanted it to be? I wished for freedom, but have I done everything to have it? Have I risked something?

I've always said that I hated father, but I still do whatever he says. I play safe, because it seems that I'm afraid of something. Why does my reaction to the situation differ from how Tiffany reacts? She seems to be happier than I am. Have I done anything to attain the happiness that I want like she did?

It feels like Sooyoung's talking to me. I remember what she always said to me, like I should take a break, dress according to my age, etc. Speaking of, it's been two days that I haven't visited her.

She told me to smile, because I look beautiful when I do. No one has ever told me that... not even my own sister

Sooyoung, are you really waiting? 

I hate the feeling of wanting to cry ,but you can't because there are two idiots who are wide awake at the back and I believe are having a sex marathon. Maybe Sooyoung is still waiting, and I'm coming back. After 30 minutes, we have arrived at Taeyeon's dorm. Since Yoona, Yuri, and Sunny are her roommates, they decided to hold the party there. 

"Hey, we're here, now get dressed! I hate to be seen in a car along with two naked people who were banging all the way here."

I got down first, since I don't want those three jerks to think that we had a threesome back there. 

"Hey, Jessica! Where's TaeNy?" Yuri greeted me at the door

"Getting dressed. If I didn't force them to swap, I would probably be in a hospital right now or on a deathbed."

"Sounds awful. Come in."

"Is Sunmi here?"

"No. She couldn't leave the bar."

"What a pity."

As I went inside, I saw Yoona and Sunny playing a video game

"Yoona, Sunny! Taeny will be here any moment, so I think you should stop that."

"Ok. How's Jeonju?"

"Not an interesting place Yoon, ask the lovebirds. They had a wonderful time there."

"So what did you just do?"

"Talked with Jiwoong, Taeyeon's older brother."

"Must have been boring huh?"

"You've said it."

A few minutes later, the duo came. Of course they were bombarded with questions, so I got bored. I think I need to go. Y'all know where.

"Umm, I have to go ahead. Personal matters. Really urgent."

"If you say so. See ya sis!"

"Bye!" They all said

I went to a coffee shop for a latte, since it really helps me relax, and headed to the park. What should I say to her? Is she still waiting? I arrived after a few minutes, and brought the two compasses. I don't see her around the spot where she usually waits, so I decided to use it. I realized that soon, the entrance was no longer visible, and all I could see were trees. I got a little scared, but I kept following the direction pointed by it. After a few minutes, I'm beginning to see a cabin, so I ran to the front porch. I'm so nervous to knock, but am I just going to stand here? I knocked softly, but will she open the door? And she did.

"Umm, hey. Sorry if I didn't come back so soon. My sister forced me to go with her girlfriend to Jeonju, so I couldn't say no. At least I came back!" I said, with a smile

"I thought you never will. Come in."

I sat on the couch while she was preparing something.

"What are you making?"

"Tea, but it seems like I finished them all. Oh well."

"I brought us some coffee, in case you might want to have one."

"Thanks."

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"For being cold towards you, when all you ever do is treat me like a real princess."

"It's ok."

"Is that all you're going to say?"

"Well, I'm really glad that you're starting to open up, and I hope that you'll stay that way."

"Only for you. I noticed that you weren't at the usual spot at the entrance. I guess you got tired of waiting."

"You have the compasses, and you had no idea how long I was waiting for you."

"You still waited for me?"

"Everyday."

"Guess what."

"What?"

"I'll be staying the night."

"I've also been waiting for that."

"I'm glad you did."
