Jessica's POV

"So how did it go?" She asked while preparing our coffees in the kitchen.

"I forgave her, that's all."

"That's all?! I've noticed that you're not the type of person who loves explaining things in detail, right?"

"Yeah. Waste of effort, waste of time, waste of words."

"But isn't oversleeping also a waste of time?"

"That's a different case."

"I'd rather not say anything."

Of course. She can't win a single argument with me.

"So both of you have reconciled, why stay here?"

"Are you driving me out of your house?!"

"No, but what's the use of staying here? I mean, I know your sister is uncomfortable with the fact that you are sleeping with someone she doesn't even know the slightest. I would appear like one of your friends with benefits."

"Hell no! That's why you're coming with me next week. I'll introduce you to her."

"As what? As one of your friends without benefits?"

"No! As a friend of course! A best friend!"

"Whatever. Hey, I heard people talking about this tv series lately." She said as she handed me my coffee and joining me at the porch.

"What about it?"

"About a girl loving a person who turns out to be a ghost."

"And?"

"He just needed to settle something, and he ends up leaving her."

"The usual tragic drama."

"But it seems that it's been the talk of the town."

"And since when have you went out of your house to visit the town?"

"Hey, I'm not like you who just spends the entire day eating and sleeping!"

"One more word, Choi Sooyoung, and you're dead meat!"

"Excuse me, this is my house, for your information."

"Then I would have to say that the host is a very insolent stick!"

"I'd rather be called a stick than a stinking panda like you!"

"Hey!"

"I'm just kidding okay? You're far from being a panda, you're a princess remember? And not to mention my ice princess." She smiled and winked

Aishhhhh Choi Sooyoung you'll be the death of meeeeee!!!!!!!

"And since when was I your ice princess?" I asked, trying to hide the fact that I'm blushing

"Hmmmm...... since I've laid my eyes upon you."

"Stop it! Back to the drama, what made you suddenly bring it up? I don't remember you being a fan of those."

"Its climax."

"What about it?"

"The girl started to believe what her friends have been telling her, and only to find out that he was a ghost."

"You're a fan of horror shows?!"

"It's far from scary, ok? Anyway he explained everything, and she ran away. He did not appear to her for days, until that night. He came to apologize and thank her for everything, and the next day, she never saw him again."

"Yeah, kinda depressing."

"What I couldn't understand was, it was actually his last night, so why didn't he actually tell her about that?" She said while frowning

"So what happened to the girl?"

"It ended with her realizing that he's never coming back."

"Yup, such drama."

"But don't you think it's a bit sad for someone to leave you alone without a proper farewell? I mean, it'd be very painful for you to realize that he/she is never coming back."

"Yeah, I'd have to agree with that, but I believe that it's somehow her fault."

"Why do you say that?"

"It wouldn't have been that tragic if she didn't run away or refused to find him. He would have explained more and could have bid a proper farewell."

"I see your point, but what are we, movie critics? Why do we keep giving our opinions concerning the series?"

"I don't know, just felt like it."

"Unbelievable."

We were silent for awhile, until she finally decides to talk.

"I want to ask you something."

"What?"

"What is the meaning of a proper farewell to you?"

"Giving a proper closure to everything that happened and feelings that need to be buried. What about you?"

"Telling someone that I'm off to the next part of my life."

"What if you were given a situation where the only options you have are to leave without saying goodbye and the other way around. Let's say that there's a 60% chance that the situation would get worse if you'd still give a proper farewell. Would you still bid goodbye?" It was my turn to ask her.

"I'd like to hear your answer first."

"Ummm.... I'd probably not. I always hate it when things get worst. What about you? Would you?"

"Hmmmmmm......" She pondered for the next several minutes.

"What's your answer? You don't have to take this so seriously."

"....I think I've found an answer."

"And what is that?"

"I would."
