Against Us (SONTAILS)

Chapter 5

*Tails' POV*
I felt different...I liked it, but why?! Sonic is like a brother to me, I cant like him, plus we live in the same house! This just isnt right! We are both boys and we love each other as brothers, and that cant change! I kicked a can as I landed on the floor in front of my house. I started walking inside and then I felt a breeze. "Tails are you okay?" Sonic asked me and I sighed and nodded.

"I need some time to think, I will be going to the forest tonight, I need to look for something." I said and he nodded and I turned around to face him, he smiled and I blushed.

"Okay, what time so I will be ready by then?" He asked and I shook my head and went inside the house and started walking to the stairs. I opened a door that was next to the stairs and got camping equipment and other things that I may use.

"Im going by myself." I said. He looked at me shocked.

"No no no no NO! You cant go to the forest by yourself at night!" He said .I shook my head and put the things in a backpack, I went to the kitchen and got some food. "I decided that im going to go by myself Sonic." I said, he walked to me and I looked away. I didnt want him close to me, not after that kiss. I had feelings for him that were not supposed to exist.

"Is it for that kiss?" Sonic said as he grabbed my arm.

"Let go of me." I said, he pulled me closer to him. "Sonic!" I yelled but he didnt listen.

"Is it?" He said and I didnt answer.

*Sonics POV*
I had to find out. "Is it?" I said but he didnt answer. Since he is shorter than me, I carried him and sat him down in kitchen counter, I made him look at me and I leaned closer to him and kissed him. He blushed and didnt kiss back, but I could feel the love in this kiss, I now know that I love Tails, and not only in a brother way, but more than that. I deepen the kiss and he eventually kissed back. I slowly separated from him and hugged him.

"S...Sonic...?" He said but I stayed quiet and he hugged back.

"Im going with you to the forest wether you like it or not!" I said after pulling away. He was still blushing and shocked, soon it turned into a smile and he started laughing and so did I. I love this about us, we could be akward about something for a moment and then we are laughing. He nodded and got out of the kitchen counter.

"Then we might need this." He said and grabbed a bag full of chili dogs. I smiled and nodded.
