Hiccup
We cautiously walked through the forest, which seemed to be getting darker, and darker. Merrida, being the brave heart she is, took the lead. She seemed to have clear cut sight in the dark, for she maneuvered through the trees like a wolf.
I was especially worried for Rapunzel, who was shivering as if she was touched by an evil spirit. "Where is the sun?...", she sighed miserably. Toothless, still greatfull to Rapunzel for saving his life, came to her and carried her on his back. "Toothless...thank you..."

The forest became quiet and creepy. We came to another opening, although not one that was bright. The tall trees had reached over the top of the opening and blocked out almost all sunlight (and it was getting worse as the sun made its descent).
To make things more frightening, a woman was there crouching in the middle, sobbing. We approached her slowly, carefully inspecting her. Her skin was lifeless, a ghostly white.
"Excuse me," whispered Merrida. No reply, just sobbing, her face to the ground. "Can we help you?", said Merrida louder, starting to lose her patience. Then the woman stood up, still looking at the ground. The brief moment of silence that followed chilled me.
The forest opening suddenly darkened. The wind then gave of a low growl, as if something unknown was approaching... the woman cried louder.
The wind soon became a tone higher and louder, as if the air had a voice of its own... more darkness crept in... she sobbed louder... louder...louder...
Then finally, she stopped crying, then spoke, with a voice as cold as ice, "kill, them..."
The trees suddenly started to sway, leaves were tossed, thunder clouds roared above the tall looming forest. The scene was chaos. And as we stood in horror, the woman, this witch, started to float upward as if she was not part of this world.
My heart raced wildy. I was going mad with fear. At the moment I wanted to look away but I was even too afraid to close my eyes. I could swear that the woman was the embodiement of horror.
From the treetops fell puppets that were under her command. They were made out of wood and string, but their eyes were a deep, burning scarlet that reached into our souls.
Toothless whimpered helplessly, and the two of us seemed already lost of any courage, except Merrida, who endured the sight somehow... that and I saw a snowflake on her nose...

Really sorry for making you guys wait for the next chapter (4 months I believe!). I just had this massive brain fart and my ideas just drifted away like dust in the wind.
Promise that you won't have to sit around and wait for me like that ever again.
