I have made so many bad decisions in my life but this one had to have been the worst. I agreed to go to the dance with Montgomery De La Cruz. Why? I honestly don't know. Maybe it was because he wouldn't stop asking me or because I secretly had a huge crush on him. I honestly don't know but I wish I had just ignored him.

I was at the snack table talking to my best friend Jeff when I saw my supposed to be date dancing with Courtney Crimson. The only person I actually hate. I really don't hate most people but if I had to hate someone other then Bryce Walker it would definitely, one hundred percent be Courtney. Oh and to make matters worse Monty knows how much I hate that bitch yet there he is with his arms all over her.

"Jeff can you take me home?" I asked, not being able to take any more of this. "Of course y/n" he replied, throwing away his drink and guiding me out of the gym. "Hold on a second" I said, walking over to Monty and Courtney. I stopped right beside them and yanked Courtney off of him and threw her to the ground. Ok maybe I was a little too violent and being a little over dramatic but I've always wanted to do this to her. I know it sounds horrible but she deserves it. I then turned towards Monty and threw the corsage he gave me at him.

"Thanks for the wonderful date Monty I had so much fun. But I must be going" I spoke. He looked shocked. By now everyone had stopped dancing and watched me make a complete fool of myself but I didn't care I was so hurt. "Wait, let me explain" Monty said. I chuckled "I don't need an explanation I completely understand that you prefer a lesbian over me" after I said that, I walked away. Jeff trailing behind me. I heard Ryan yell "finally" probably because he hates Courtney just as much as I do and the fact that I just let out her biggest secret.

"Y/n what the hell?" Jeff spoke once we got settled in his car. "What?" I lied, I knew exactly what he was going to say. "Umm what was that outburst? You're never that pissed. What the fuck has gotten into you?" I looked at him and sighed. "You know how much I hate her. And the fact that she was dancing with my date, it just pissed me off" I lied again, leaning back in my seat. "Y/n, I'm your best friend and I know that this is about more than just her dancing with Monty. Now why are you really upset?" He asked. I looked at him and told him everything. "I really like Montgomery ok? And he knows how much I hate Courtney yet he dances with her in front of me. She always ruins everything for me and I just lost it. I don't know what I was thinking and I know I went a little too far but I don't regret anything I said." "I didn't know you liked him that much" he replied smirking, as he back out of his parking space and began to drive me home.

The car ride to my house was silent. Well besides my phone literally going off every five seconds with either a message or call from Monty. "Either answer him or turn off your phone because work by Rihanna is starting to get really annoying" I laughed and put my phone on silent. "You know you love Riri" I smirked.

I thanked Jeff for the ride home and ran straight to my room. I took my dress off and put much more comfortable clothes on and plopped on my bed. I put on Netflix and selected a random movie getting comfy until my phone starting going off again. Fifteen unread messages and eight missed calls all from Montgomery. I rolled my eyes as Monty attempted to call me again. I decided to answer him.

"What Monty I'm not in the mood"

"Look y/n I'm so sorry I don't know what I was thinking"

"Oh believe me Montgomery I bet you did. Now please stop trying to contact me."

"Please just let me explain"

"There's nothing to explain Monty"

"I really like you and I know I screwed up but please let me make it up to you. I'll do anything y/n please."

"Meet me at Monet's tomorrow after school. And if you screw this up I'm not giving you any more chances Montgomery"

"I'll see you there, babe"

I hung up the phone and placed it on my bedside table. I couldn't break the huge smile on my face. I just hoped I didn't make another bad decision.
