Chapter 10: Depression And The Chunin Exams

I got up from the living room chair. I had been crying all night wishing Emi wasn't gone. 'Were entering the Chunin exams part of the show and Orochimaru could have kidnapped her or the Akatsuki. Where could she be? I went into her room. Maybe her journal has some hints.' I thought. I entered her room and looked under her pillow. I pulled out the book and looked at the last entry.

Asami has been on a mission for a while now. My depression is seeping out into my everyday life here in this world. I don't think I can handle missing my parents, knowing they are alive and probrably missing me. I am planning on dissapearing from the village. I don't want Asami knowing of my plans to search for a way home. I will even go to hell and back. I just want to go home, into the real world...

I put the book down. 'She was so sad. I was elated to come here and didn't even think of the consequences of Emi being here...' I wanted to slap myself for my carelessness. I sat on her bed. And looked at the wall. Something shiny and reflective caught my eye. I looked up, it was Emi's friendship necklace. It was a green stone, the same color as my eyes. Mine was a purple stone, like her eyes. I whent over to it and picked it up. I put it on my neck and It clinked next to mine. 'I'm going to become a great ninja and I will find you Emi and I will find a way to get you home.' I thought determined.

I walked out of Emi's room and into the kitchen. I grabbed a green apple and ran out the door locking it with my key. I ran to the bridge and sat on the railing. Sauske and Sakura were already there I just sat on the rail and ate my apple. My team didn't know about Emi's dissapearance.

"Hello Sakura, emo-king." I said quietly.

"Don't call MY Sauske-kun that!" Sakura shouted at me with her annoyingly high voice.

I sighed, "Sakura, what are the characteristics of a person?" I asked.

"A person has free will and a personality." She replied.

"Good, now, is a person a thing to be owned like a slave?" I asked.

"Course not, slavery is bad." Sakura the obvious answer.

"Ok so what do you say when you own something?" I continue.

"I say it is mine." She concludes.

"Is Sauske a slave?" I ask.

"No." Sakura says.

"Is he a person?" I ask.

"YES, WHY ARE YOU ASKING ALL THESE QUESTIONS?!" Sakura yelled at me.

"I am proving my point that Sauske isn't 'yours', because he isn't a thing to be owned or a slave. He is a person with a gloomy personality and free will." I stated.

Sakura stared at me in disbelief.

"Who are you and what did you do to Asami?! She never talked sophistically!" Sakura shouted trying to tackle me. I sweatdropped while dodging her.

"I feel so loved." I said out loud. I jumped off the river and used my chakra to stick to the bottom of the bridge. I threw my apple into the water and it made a big splash simulating me falling in. They waited for a few minutes, expecting me to come up. My apple floated up and down the river.

"OH MY GOSH I KILLED HER!!" Sakura yelled. I snickered. I hears running feet coming to the bridge perfect. A few minutes later Naruto comes up to the Bridge

"HEY GUY'S WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT THE RIVER?!" He shouted.

"Sakura killed Asami." Sauske calmly said. 'Oh I am feeling the love...I an just see the non existant tears...' I thought sarcastically.
