I woke up the next morning alone. Where did Aaron go? We were supposed to go to the carnival today and he ditches me? I shrugged it off and got out of bed. I looked down and realized I was still wearing yesterdays clothes.

Even though it was a struggle, I got dressed. I walked out of my room and into the bathroom using my crutches. I washed my face and put light make up on.

I could smell something cooking from downstairs.

"Hey mom, what's for breakfast?" I yelled.

There was no reply.

"Mom?" I waited for a minute, but still no reply.

I walked out of the bathroom and headed down the stairs. As I got to the last step I looked around the corner of the kitchen. There stood Aaron making pancakes.

"Aaron?"

"Good morning beautiful." he said smiling.

"You're making pancakes?" I asked excitedly.

"Yep, we're celebrating today! Remember?"

"Yeah." I giggled.

"Wait..." I said. "Where's my mom?"

"Oh she's at my house talking to my mom." Aaron said. "They've been gossping about us all morning." he laughed.

I walked up to Aaron and put my arms around him. I smiled and snuggled into his chest. He let go of the pan and wrapped his arms around my waist.

Wow. His touch made me melt.

I looked up and him and smiled. He gently kissed me on the lips. We kissed for a few minutes until I smelled something burning.

I smiled into the kiss.

"You're going to burn our pancakes." I laughed.

"I don't care." he said. "I'll make more."

"We don't have anymore. Keep cooking." I giggled and walked away.

"Don't do that to me." He said laughing.

"Do what?"

"Leave me hanging." he said. "Come back over here."

"Not until you finish making my pancakes." I said.

I laughed as he rolled his eyes at me and went back to flipping the pancakes.

I sat down on the couch and turned the tv on.

"So, we still on for the carnival later?" I asked.

"Yep!" he smiled. "And I'm definitely planning on winning you a big stuffed teddy bear like in the movies."

"Wow, cheesy, but so romantic." I smiled.

He's so sweet. I'm so happy that we can finally be together and it isn't awkward.

"Hey, by the way, my ankle doesn't hurt as much anymore. I think I'm going to try and go without them today." I said.

"Are you sure? I don't want you to hurt yourself."

"Yes, I'm sure. It's getting better, I promise. See, watch."

I got up off the couch without my crutches and walked over to Aaron. Of course I limped, but just a little bit.

"Alright, but please be careful today." He said.

"I will, don't worry." I said. "I'm going to go check on Becky and my mom."

"Ok." He said.

"Those pancakes better be done when I get back." I laughed.

He smiled as I walked out the door.

I went over to Aaron's house and let myself in. As I started walking down the hall I heard them talking.

"I know, they're so cute." I heard Mrs. Becky say.

They both started giggling.

"Hey guys." I said walking up to the dining room table.

"Oh hey honey." Becky said.

"What'cha guys up to?" I asked suspiciously.

"Oh, nothing." she said as she put her phone in her pocket.

I could tell she was hiding something.

"Let me see." I said holding my hand out.

"Oh fine." She said rolling her eyes and handing me her phone. "Go to the pictures."

I unlocked her phone and went into her camera roll.

They're was a picture of me and Aaron. She had taken it after me and Aaron fell asleep last night. I was laying on his chest.

"Becky!" I started laughing.

"What? It's adorable!" She said.

I rolled my eyes as my phone started beeping.

I pulled it out and checked my texts.

Aaron: The pancakes are ready! Get your booty over here!

I laughed as I read his text.

"I gotta go guys, see you later." I smiled and left.

When I got back to my house Aaron had already set the table.

There was two fancy plates piled high with pancakes, a vase full of flowers in the middle of the table, a pink table cloth, and fancy napkins.

"Surprise." Aaron said smiling.

"Aww Aaron, this is so sweet!" I said beaming.

He pulled out my chair and then sat down. While we were eating we talked about our plans for the day. I finally finished feeling very full.

"I better go change." Aaron said.

He was still in his pajamas.

"Ok, meet me outside." I said smiling. "I have to show you something."
