The soft petals
Drink water
From puddles
That glisten on
Your bare skin,
And we float
About the lake,
Basking in the sun.
A single red rose
A sweet, fragrant caress,
Paint strokes
Spreading each droplet.
And you hum as I kiss
Across the canvas.
