Stop, don't move,
Stand right there
Where the wind dances through your brown hair
And your eyes gleam in the sunlight
And your smile creeps to the corners of your mouth.
Don't move! I've got to get this moment down.
Don't ever, ever change who you are.
Don't ever feel like you are not beautiful,
Like you are not worthy to be loved.
Wait, please, just a second longer
As I fumble with this stupid camera.
Let me take this picture to always remember
Just how wonderfully perfect you are.
I don't care what you say
About the way you in look in the morning
Or how your bangs always fall into your face
Or how lonely you sometimes feel at night
Or how you doubt yourself too many times.
I don't care that you wonder if people will like you
And if you sometimes feel scared on the inside.
Wait, wait! Almost ready.
Keep your pose
While I capture your image
On this screen.
Look, come see:
Beautiful, Amazing, Pure, and True.
You just don't know how much I really love you.
And I don't care about all those voices in your head
Or all those worries and doubts and insecurities,
Because I know what you are to me:
Friend, lover, soulmate, forever and ever.
