Chapter 13

Adams POV

As I left Laya house i was thinking why my mom said it was so urgent to come home.When I arrived home I open the door and went to see my mom in the living room with and older man with a grey suit on next to her.

Adam: Mom who is this?

Mom: Adam this man here is...His your father.

My father thats impossible my real dad is at work right now. I look at the man and all he did was smile.

Adam: That can't be true, Mom this has ti be a joke right.

Mom: No this is true its a long story but im sure your fathe...

I cut her off before she can say what I think it was.

Adam: Well please explain now I need to know.

David/Dad: Well...im David Jimenez, Im your father and im sorry I haven't reach out lately.

Adam: Reach out lately!! You mean for 17 years!! Just continue.

David/Dad: I know but there is a reason behind it all...There was some really bad people after and I didnt want your mother to be apart of that so I dont her to go far as possible and she did then the day after I got a call from her saying she was pregnant with you. I was very happy about but sad cause I knew I wasn't going to be able to see you forever. So then about 9 months went by and then those bad people I explain to you about called me saying my baby boy was born and his name is Adam, when I heard that I was happy cause your mom named you after my father. Then I got upset cause I was wondering how dis they find out about my son. So I was taken by one of there guards with noticing.

Adam: Wait this all happen for real mom?

Mom: Yes this is all true honey.

Adam: So who is the name of the people.

My mom looked at my supposedly father and he did too and it was like they didnt want me to know something.

Mom: I think his ready to know David.

David/Dad: Its not just people its a family. There named is the Rotella family they are really bad people and they destory every cartel or mafia family that comes there way.

Adam: Wait you said cartel or mafia? If they tried to get you then what does that mean.

David/Dad: Well we are apart of the Jimenez Cartel.

Adam: So we are like drugs and money and shit!!

Mom: Adam watch your mouth.

David/Dad: Yes and im going to be living here not in the house but around town and get everything in order right now.

Adam: Alright I think I need alittle time to process this in my room for now on okay.

Mom: Fine see you later for lunch!

I ran up stairs to my room to think about what I am going to do with my life and I kbow sure not to tell anybody about my family being a cartel family. Then I thought about Laya. I have to aleast tell her cause she is my girlfriend but then again I dont want her to get hurt so ill keep it a secret and my dad a secret too.

Adam: This all cant be true or real after all these fucking years now is the time.

I heard a small knock on my door and it was my mom.

Mom: I know this might be hard for you but im sorry I didnt tell you years ago.

Adam: Its finr mom things will be different but its okay.

Mom: By the way your Dad wants to take you to his house and stay for aleast three days.

Adam: Really already!

Mom: Yes I know but you pack tonight and leave tomorrow okay so take your time love.

Adam: Fine alright.

*Next Morning*

I woke up in the morning just to head downstairs and eat breakfast. When I saw my Mom and Richard and my not actual real dad.

Richard: Goodmorning Dork!

Mom:Goodmorning.

Dad: Hey goodmorning son!

Adam: Goodmorning everyone, im just gonna eat a bagle and have orange juice and head off to school okay.

Mom: Well okay if you want but hey im going to call you later in the day alright.

Adam: Cool I'll wait on it then.

I head up stairs got ready and grab my bag for my dads and for school i hop in the car and as i was driving my phone was ringing and the caller I.D. was Laya I answered the phone.

Adam: Hey babe wassup.

Laya: Hey I was just calling to see if you were on your way.

Adam: Yea, I am just a couple minutes away.

Laya: Well okay good.

Adam: Hey ummm..babe

Laya: Yes..Adam

Adam: Nevermind ill see u at school okay!

Laya: Sure see ya bye!

She hung up the phone first and i put my phone down I really cant believe that I was gonna tell her about my real dad. When I pulled up to the school I saw Laya talking to a guy.

Adam: Hey babe who is this?

Laya: This is my cousin Anthony.

Adam: Hey whats up!

Anthony: Hey bro so your dating my little cause right.

Adam: Wait little cousin how old are you?

Anthony: Im 23, you thought I was going here oh no!

Laya: First of all im not a baby anymore.

Anthony: Oh im not talking about age im talking about your height.

Me and Anthony starting laughing at Laya but I love how short she is its very cute!

Laya: Hahaha laugh it up all you want but you guys both know I can beat your ass!

Adam: Well it was nice talking and seeing you but I have to get to class alright Laya you coming.

Laya: Sure.

We all said are byes and saw Anthony leaving the school. Me and Laya made it to class and started working.
