Chapter 3

Skylar POV

I'm so happy. My sister isn't mad that her best guy friend is my mate, I turned 17 and my mate is super hot. Life is good... Well for now at least. "Hey Sky do you want to come work out with me for a little bit?" Sam asks poking his head into my room. "Sure." With that we went to the work out room that was in the basement.

I went over to the punching bags while Sam went to box. I started to think about things that would really piss me off in order for my hits to be harder. "Woah, babe, calm down!" Sam said coming up behind me. "Babe seriously if you hit the bag any harder the bag is going to come off the hook." Looking up I see that the bag is swaying very quickly. Sometimes I forget how strong I can be.

That's why if there is a mad mated female especially in heat you just let her rant and not try to get in the middle of whatever she pissed about. "Sorry. I was-"

"Mad about not being fully mated yet?"

"No I was just trying to get my hits harder so I thought of things that made me mad."

"Babe you seem to be forgetting that I can read you like an open book."

"Ok yes I'm mad about that but-"

"Your mad that Angie hasn't found her mate yet?"

"Yea. I really want her to be happy. She is my big sister after all."

"Hey, it's ok she's a big girl she will find her mate soon."

"I just hope he treats her well. Or else."

"Haha ok. C'mon let's go get something to eat."

Food always did seem to make me happy. After getting cleaned up a bit and changing our clothes we went to get burgers from the local burger joint. With everything being so whacked lately it was hard to remember to just breathe and not let things bug you. At least school was over for a few weeks, then I'll be a senior and I can finally get my truck.
