Angie POV

As Austin walked down the stairs with me on his back it dawned on me that I haven't seen Jackie in almost 2 days. "Where's Jackie? I haven't seen her since my birthday." "Uhm.... well something came up and I've been super overprotective of her lately so she's been hiding in our room and only leaving when she's with me."

"Is she ok?" "Yea. Of course she is. I wouldn't leave her if she wasn't."

"Ok I just don't want my sister in law hurt or anything."

"She's fine."

"Ok if you say so." When we are almost to the door he starts tickling me.

"Austin! NO! Stop!" I say in between giggles. "Nah I'm good."

"Austin put me down" I said as we walked into the room. "Mate mate mate" My wolf said. A low growl came out of the mouth of an really hot guy that was sitting in one of the chairs. He had the most amazing hazel eyes I have ever seen and had dark brown hair that had me itching to run my fingers through. "Austin! PUT! ME! DOWN!" I said before the hot guy came and ripped him limb from limb. "Fine. Gosh your. So fricken bipolar it's literally giving me emotional whiplash!"

"Your such a girl Austin and if you keep giving me a hard time I will tell Jackie." I said waking over to my dad and sitting in his lap.

"Hi daddy."

"Hi princess. What are you doing might I ask?"

"I thought it was obvious. I'm sitting."

"Yes well can you please get up because I don't think your mother would approve of this." As soon as the words left his lips the door opened and mom walked in. "Angela what do you think you are doing sitting in my mates lap!?"

"Well I was sitting. But now that your here I bet I have to move. The reason that was sitting on dads lap is because Austin is being melodramatic and is taking up most of the couch and the only other spot is where that guy is sitting and because I don't know who he is I can't sit in his lap." I say pointing at him.

"Angie this is Jake. Jake this is my eldest daughter Angela but you can call her Angie." Dad says before things can get any weirder. "It's very nice to meet you Angela." He says. Oh my god he had the deepest voice.

"Likewise." "If I may ask how old are you Angie?" "I just turned 17 two days ago. What about you?" "I am also 17. I turn 18 in a few months time."

"So Jake why did you come to my pack exactly?" Dad asks him. "I came to see if any of the females from your pack would be my mate because in about two months I will be alpha of the Red Dawn pack."

"Would you like me to gather all of the unmated females then?" 'NO MY MATE!! NO ONE GETS MY MATE BUT ME!!' My she wolf screams.

"No I think I may have found her."

"Well who is she."

"I think she may be Angela."

Once he said that I could feel my wolf trying to break free. "Oh." Was all my dad said. "Dad what's going on with Angie's eyes?"

"I'm guessing now that Jake has admitted to being her mate her wolf is trying to free herself and be with her mate." All I could do was nod. I could feel her get closer to the surface and I started shaking. "Dad what's happening?!" "I don't know. It could be the fact that when they first sensed each other and didn't touch got her wolf riled up. But I don't know." 'Let me mate with my mate' Tess my wolf started to chant. 'No I'm not ready for anything like that yet.' 'Must have mate now!' 'No' "Daddy help me" "Jake get her out side NOW!!" Uncontrolled shifting can be harmful to the one who changes and to those around them. Thinking I should go to the hospital wing was the last thing I thought before everything went black.
